He was my first choice among the coaches. I picked him on my first go. I guess Dilscoop did not notice this one? Okay, lets see what Dilscoop has got to say here.

Thank you CEO Exactly what I had been working on. And I've got to say, auctioning for the all-time ODI draft a month back helped a lot.

Thank you. I went by stats. Alfonso Thomas has 187 wickets in 167 matches with an average of 21.3. He has the highest number of wickets for a paceman and is amongst the best pace bowlers in T20s in terms of average, strike rate and economy rate. Umar Gul has an average of 17.
..
Charl Langeveldt happens to have 100+ wickets as well with an ave of 20. Dwayne Smith has good stats with the ball too.
...
The names aren't as attractive as they could be, I know. But since this tourney is based on stats more importantly, my pace bowling attack is pretty good IMHO. What I think is, I could have opted for better spin options but they were taken already.

I think this is a very decent squad, just short of a proper batting all rounder.

Thank you Dwayne Smith: Matches: 111 Avg: 25.7 Str: 138. More than handy as a batting all-rounder don't you think?

Washington Nationals are heading into the warm-up matches and later the tournament itself with a crop of 14 players instead of 17. The coaching staff has a lot of faith in fitness and commitment of all 14 players.
