Default Fitness of our players: Football vs. Cricket

The Bangladesh national football team’s new south american coach, Cruciany (sorry about the spelling) recently has given extreme importance on improving the BD footballer’s fitness. Physical training has been highly emphasized.

One more thing he said is that the food habit of BD sportsmen containing low calorie but high fat is totally unsuitable for good standard of fitness for international level in sports. He is thinking of proposing high calorie foods for the players like chocolate.

I know our cricketers, on the other hand, have already been going through tough physical training. But what exactly is being done with their food habit? Why do they look quite lethargic at times specially on long tours and longer version matches?

Our batsmen were told to eat a lot and that's why they get out very quickly and continue with their eatting....

The physical fitness of our players are much more better than before. And this has some thing to do with food habit too.
If you want to stay fit and healthy in the cricketting world you have to be watchfull about your diet and i am pretty much sure that our players do know and follow this.
