Let's look forward.

Todays game was a rubbish one.

I am hoping newbies will understand the value of wicket in the next match.

Bashar needs a rest.

Miraj: The only person whom to blame for losing against WI is "you!" You have failed to open the thread before the match starts and therefore, we lost the game as we could only win if the thread was only open by you who has a record of 100% winning!!
No excuses pls.

So who are taking the early flight back home? I hope Mehrab or Shahadat gets a chance to play. I want Ash to really sweat for a World cup slot even though the lucky guy will still feature in the line up.

My team...

S. Nafees (Cap)
Mehrab Jnr
Aftab
Saqib
Rajin
Farhad
Pilot
Rafique
Mashrafe
Razzaq
Shahadat

Perhaps SN should be the captain from now on. Bashar, after today, should retire from ODI cricket. Mehrab Jnr should be our 1st choice unless he fails badly. No more playing with Ash career. Let him play at no. 4 or never call him back. Rajin will be the backbone on no. 5. Play Shahadat for sure! because he is much much better bawler than Rassel. Nowadays, when we have Saqib, we don't need another medium pacer.

its disqualifying match now. you win, you go home.

I have lost all the interest in this team. It is unacceptable performence. Bashar should retire from ODI. He just doesn't go with ODI.

Of the two team BD are still favorite given the fact that Zim struggles to play in the sub-continent and also Zim have been batting dismally...but you shouldnt rule out Zim cuz they have this belief that they can beat you guys. Gary Brent one of the run-away rebel cricketers is likely to get a chance to prove himself, he has flown to India to replace Duffin who is ill. He doesnt have the most impressive record, but im sure he can bat and bow better than the likes of Rinke, Mufambisi and Strydom...

I believe that we have been playing short of a batsman. Farhad is better suited at 7, incidentally where he also played most of his cricket in first class cricket. Farhad is pretty much playing as a specialist batsman as his bowling has been completely ineffective so far. Mehrab for Razzak could certainly be an option. But this could severely weaken our already threadbare bowling resources.
The bowling also needs more firepower. Shahadat has to come in for Rasel. So my team:

Nafees
Mehrab
Aftab
Sakib
Bashar
Ashraful
Farhad
Mashud
Rafique
Mashrafee
Shahadat

Rasel and Ash will be out as Cricinfo reported. So Mehrab and Rajin is coming into the team. But there is no place for SH. SO sad. Even the ocmmentators said SH should have been played in all of the matches. But our pundit management did not let him play by playing Rasel the great.

Smart move!!! We are dropping a batsman and a pacer for two batsmen. Ash for Mehrab. No problem there. But what is Rajin doing in place of Rasel? Shahadat is the one who should be playing and everyone seems to get that except the team management.

I don't know why people are terming Farhad as a #7 batsman. He may have batted like that against SL, but in domestic league he is a top order batsman. Now that may not translate into top order for the national team right away, but the potential is there Farhad to take #4/#5 in the future.

Atleast against weaker team like ZIM and KEN he showed how he can pace the innings, starting slow and evetually when he is set, increase the run rate. I have no doubt about his batting potential, I am not sure about his effectiveness as a bowler.

Long term, unless he drastically improve his bowling, he can only come in the team as a batsman or batting all-rounder. I see him as a future #/4/#5 batsman in out national team.

The pitch must be very slow and turning. Looks like they want to bat first again and Mash closing the innings again. I guess he wants to redeem himself or the management wants him to become a death bowler. I think they should allow Aftab bowl couple of overs in the middle to take pressure off from Forhad.

I was very impressed by the Zim fielding against SL. Boys must find gaps to get singles even.

Despite what CI says, Zimbabwe has nothing to loose. They will be called young, inexperienced team. On the other hand this is a game we must win and win with room tospare. However, I do not think they are up to it. One good news is that they are axing Ash-are-fool.

i am really heart broken after our loss to WI, I have very low interest to follow that game now. I guess Mehrab will get an opportunity to play, so thats one reason to watch the game.

Interesting. According to tigercricket.com, Zimbabwean skipper Utseya mentioned three names in Bangladeshi side as potential match winner or who could make a decisive impact. And they are:

- Ashraful (we all know that. When he is in form he can be a match winner. But the issue is when)

- Aftab Ahmed ( We see the potential, only his innings are shortened by his own stupidity)

- Razzak ( What a surprise!!!! We the fans, fails to see and appreciate what Razzak brings in the team.)

Andy-Flowe my man: You never know who would win when these two team play!?
Even one is being in the top three and the other is in #10!! It's like Pakistan vs India match. As usual, my team is going to eat you all!!!
