World Cup 2011

Does any one here know anything about the preparations for world cup 2011 in the subcontinent. The boards are supposed to finalize their application by April 19.

I heard Bangladesh is supposed to get 6 matches. Now Anandabazar says it's 4 matches.

Any updates?

Umm good question. Last time I heard that Aus+NZ were the forerunners for the 2011 WC, but they were thinking of backing out when Ind-Pak-SL-BD were planning on submitting a joint application. If it goes through (which probably will - for financial reasons), BD will certainly get to play at least the group matches on home turf.
