BD planning to trap Kenya with spin
Amardesh
According to this report, the management is thinking about having at least two SLA's in the team. Rajin is also getting lots of their attention in practice sessions. Shahadat most probably have to wait little longer for his ODI debut.

I agree, our best bet would be to take those spinners who can bat too. I know many of you will start screaming, but Rana is a good suit in this condition. He should be a must.
I also think shahadat would sit out, at least for the first ODI.

Raw-freaka and tikolo is almost of the same age. does not matter how good a player tikolo is, I can garantee you, he is not going to score a double ton.
even if we can't get him out, he will run out of partners before he reaches his century.

You must be over-confident about Tikolo. Not even the Srilankan Batsman scored double century against Bangladesh in the recent test matches, and we are talking about ODI, only 50 overs.

pontong, jaysuria did not score 150 againest us let alone duoble century. so this tikolo guy must be damn good to score double century.
on a side note, how many century and double century he scored in our premier league

BD is taking some defensive strategy. I think they should include Shahadat and demolish Kenya using our pace trio.
For spin we have got the magic of Rafique and Alok is also doing fine.
the team should be
JO
SN
MA
AA
HB
AK
MR
KM
MM
SH
SR

I know Bangladesh has good spinners but at the moment, the most promosing bowlers are Mashrafee and Shahadat. Even the Aussies will have problems against these two on Bangladeshi wickets. Something keeps these two from playing together.
My humble opinion is that Mashrafee, Shahadat and Rasel bowling in tandem could bring Bangladesh fairly frequent wins in ODIs. Rasel will keep it tight and the other two will rattle the batsmen and get wickets.

i know you're joking, but dont you think this kind of jokes hurt our society. the betterment of a country begins in the minds of its constituents.
abherrath, i do agree with your comment. although there's some work to be done with shahadat and rasel, these two along with masri definitely possess the potential to rattle any top order out there.

Anyone has the stat: how good are kenyans against spinners or pacers?
Mash, Rasell, Aftab
Rafique, Rana, Kapali
Good combination.
Although Rajib is a good prospect in place of Rana. But my guess (not from any stat!) is Kenyans would prefer fast bowling.
