Default about the two captains

Hello every one,
I have found some people who r they r still showing disagreement about two captains of Bangladesh national team. Obviously, i support the decision of BCB. They took the right decision after a long time. Although there is no garanty that Bangladesh will become an unbeaten team by using two captains for one dayers and test matches, it will be very useful next time. Khaled Mahmud is not suitable for test match. But i am worried about Habibul Bashar. Would he manage to play his natural cricket after having the captaincy? I hope he will. He is the best Bangladeshi batsman in test cricket.

I merged the three thread by arafath3 as they are very similar in nature.

Welcome to the board, arafath3.

Welcome to the board.

I don't think that this two-captain procedure is a long-term thing. As soon as our youngsters are a little bit experienced and become a bit more matured at the International scene, then one of them will be the captain of Bangladesh in both shorter and the longer version of the game.

I don't think this two captain policy would work . If khaled mahmood becomes the ODI captain would you drop the test captain or make him vice captain. Bad idea. When are they announcing it though?

On the other hand, it could be an inspiration to Habibul Bashar. He should not be dropped in ODI cricket for any match, but he is dropped anyway because of his poor form once in a while now.

Now if Habibul Bashar is the test captain, and continues to be a better than average player as he is now, in addition, performs well as the captain of the test team, then it should (and I said 'SHOULD') inspire Habibul Bashar to knock off Khaled Mahmud off the ODI captancy role.

Anyway, I heard from an ntv news report that it would be announced during the middle of this month or thereabout.

The most obvious answer would be that Khaled Mahmood would not be retained AT ALL in the test team- thus eliminating the need to ruminate as to what his role would be in said squad.
