What's the composition of these teams? Who are in them? Age group players?

Anyone know?

Thanks,

All practice matches teams were formed from local league players and officially U-19.

No senior players played in these matches.

Can you clarify and also what's the source? What local league - in each city? And every single team is fielding only U-19? In that case our teams are kicking some serious ***!

LAst 3-4 days, newspapers had articles on these team. All are U-19 teams.

Chittagong has youngstars from National League.

Dhaka teams (CCDM) has mostly players from the national league and BCB Development Squad. The rest of the teams used local boys from the natioal cricket championship.

How ever, we all know U-19 might as well include some 22-23 oldies.

At least Naraynganj team was not U-19. Some of the players like Jahangir, Mridul, Mona are over 25 for sure....

I think, only teams that are declared U-19 (Such as: Jessore U-19 & Khulna U-19) are officially U-19 teams. You will also notice, they all lost. The others (Such as: CCDM Red) are probably not U-19. Mehrab Hossain, for example, played for the Red. They won against Scotland. The warmups are not at all convincing.

I don't think the practice match opponents are meant to be u-19 selections. They are just local selections that are put together to give the national u-19 teams some practice. Come one, Jahangir must be nearing his mid 30s by now!
