Need help with Cricket 2005 DVD.

I bought a Cricket 2005 DVD today. I tried to install it as it was instructed. But failed to use 'daemon tool' 1st time and uninstalled it. After then when I triend to reinstall dameon tools it is showing -

'The older version of Daemon Tools cannot be removerd. Contact your technical support group.'

And finally it is telling that it is not install and software must be restarted. But same thing is happening again and again. What to do to get rid from this problem?
