Look at the history of what they did in the past, you will have your answer.
No, I'm not a commerce student, but learned the hard way how corporate world operates.

Do u mean they will bribe match officials ?
Or they will fix it with sri-lankan players ?
That is what you are trying to say here, isnt it ?

Welcome to BanglaCricket ihit.
So which part in Rubu's discussion did you not understand? SL players won't sell for money. But the rest are possible options. You have any more options to suggest?

If the match is a tie then India is also thru. So they do not need to win, they just have to tie.

Thnx kabir,
Thats right, As we all know that SL players wont sell for money.
And it is highly highly impossible that match officials or in this case we can say umpires can be bought. He is suggesting that corporate world or bookies will try to make it in India' s favor even by hook or crook. If that is the case...thn no bangladeshi would like to play in such a tournament where ICC itself favors particular team.
My point is stop making allegation before the match.

anything but an Indian win will kick India out of the world cup. A tie/no result will give them 1 point, and 3 in total. Given that Bangladesh beats Bermuda, SL with 5 points and BD with 4 points, will qualify.

I think Srilanka will go into this match to win it with every strength they have. Because, they dont want to go into super 8 after losing this match also losing 2 points. All we need to worry is Injury to Jayasuria. Will he be able to play against India?
I am having a good sense of Srilanka beating India comprehensively and hence we will be the 2nd lesser team to go through super 8.

no full credit to the Lankans, whilst all no credit to our boys for yesterday's debacle.
i am afraid of the worst: india winning

This question of 2 points I think is a motivator for SL going into tomorrows match. They don't need runrate anymore. There is no way Bangladesh can achieve the runrate required to by pass either India or SL. So the only factor is those 2 points. Question is, can SL show that they can play against 13 or 14 people? It is unlikely that they'll get any 50/50 decision in their favor. More likely that they'll see 60/40 decisions going against them, just like we saw in Bangladesh SL match.

Good !!
A proper match thread.
Moderators can merge it with al Furaan's thread keeping the first post of this thread as the thread starter post.

Actually al Furqaan made one before you did. It's here: http://www.banglacricket.com/alochon...ad.php?t=19637
You didn't notice it JB
Mods: Before you merge the threads, can you please make sure that JB's first post is on top of the match thread? I like his presentation style. (sorry Asad bhai )

India, go home.
Umps for this match are Aleem Dar (Pak) and Daryl Harper (Aus). I will obviously keep an eye on Aleem Dar.

Well, Good Morning to my BD mates!
Today's match is a do or die for two teams and fortunately for us the SL Lions are not one of them!
Tiger fans can be rest assured that our boys will go into this game even more fired up than they were when playing BD!
We have a chance to inflict a severe blow on the Indians by knocking them out of the World Cup and I am sure our boys would settle for nothing less!
However, one must keep in mind that SL and IND are two very evenly matched teams and at the end of the day it will just boil down to who plays the better cricket on the day!
India will come into this match with a hell of a lot of pressure and our boys will no doubt look to exploit that factor to the fullest! The toss could be vital and I hope that for once our skipper wins it and puts India in!

InshAllah... aj k lankan lions would dominate... and show who's king of the jungle... hehe... if sri lanka plays the full team they would walkover this indian team... india is only good at home... outside home soil they are horrible... and think sri lanka is in the best form currently in the tournament... and ummm sri lanka has no pressure... india has a hugggggeee pressure on their shoulder.... this could be a problem for the blue men..... hahah this is going to be the biggest match of the tournament... and the most watched match of the world cup so far....im sure sri lanka would win... now with the match fixing controversy goin around they would have more reason to win it... as they would want to show they are clean... hopefully and surely they are.... i love sri lanka... go lankan lions...

Maybe the batting side... but I think there's no way to compare indian bowling to srilankan's... may the best win!*
(*so it will be Sri Lanka! :-))
