McConchie to lead NZ XI against Bangladesh
Quote:
The XI is largely made up of players not required for their provincial teams Super Smash T20 games which conflict.
|
Canterbury's Cole McConchie takes charge of NZ XI to play Bangladesh
Quote:
Northern Districts' Bharat Popli, who was the top domestic batsman last summer, is in the New Zealand XI, as is in-form Central Districts spinner Ajaz Patel and young Auckland batsman Ben Horne, son of former New Zealand player Phil Horne and nephew of Matt Horne, who also played for the Black Caps.

^^Averaging almost 43 after 26 FC matches...a little under, but an able batsman..
Will be interesting to see how he play in limited overs, since he've never played one.;

Good looking pitch. perfect for seamers.
I would win toss and bat first for good practice: but in a real match, I would win toss and bowl first.
