We definitely have stage fright during a final. Otherwise I cannot explain the collapse. Not one batsman wanted to see it till the end but instead went for big hits. There was no need for Mushi and Ryad to take those risky options with so many overs left to play. I understand plan A was to get close to 300 but when wickets fell, plan B should have been to get 250

You'd think Mushfiq and Riyad would have learnt their lesson about going for unnecessary big shots after the T20 WC...but alas this is BD lol

He's proven he's right up there with Bumrah and Hasan (imo better than Hasan) but Bumrah has been very impressive. Its neck and neck between him and Fizz.

But I dont wanna sound like this PAK guy who was saying Shinwari and Rumman were better than Fizz. Even Amir is now not worthy of standing in Fizz's shadow. But Bumrah is good, I waited this long to say it because his sample size was too low till recently.

^ I think Bumrah edges it due to being able to generate higher speeds and he's better with the new ball.

Hasan Ali seems to have gone the Taskin route lmao

We lost the match after 1st innings. Our pacers bowled well to keep in the match till end but to be honest never looked like India was gonna lose the match. Indian batsmen played sensibly with patience. They did not hurry things as our Mushy or Riyad would do in such situation.

Disappointed and upset with our middle orders and spin bowlers which was our strength but proud of our pacers for their effort.

Well today it was Fizz who was better with the new ball...and by quite a distance. Both are skills but the harder to master is bowling at the death and I think Bumrah is slightly ahead of Fizz in the department. So overall I'd say they are even stevens, maybe Bumrah is slightly ahead of him overall.

I feel let down

It’s like watching a movie/ film in which you get to see somebody else in joy but you get to hold the burden of loss.

If the movie sucked all the time, you would stop identifying with it but the movie gives you hope but takes it away.

I don’t want your respect for MY loss dear opposition

I don’t want your pat in the back

I don’t want your sympathy

I wanted that sweet victory.

Sometimes it’s not good supporting things you have no control over. It’s not good for psyche.

But I’m human so I come back.
