Tamim may miss out due to groin pain. He will decide after fitness test in the morning.

If that happens, we will play with 6 batsmen+ Miraz + 4 pacers, I guess.

Who is in, who is out?

Miraj looks like a confirmed out.

Are we playing with 4 FB plus SS?

Any chance Nayeem will be playing?

Rahim is out (due to injury). Will Mithun gets another chance? Litton is set for 2nd TEST?

Why on earth such a light squad? Another case of the management just doing as they please.

NZ's strategy is simple, put out complete roads knowing full well BD batsmen will still crumble. They did the exact same thing during the last NZ tour. Get ready for another run fest. Boring.

I am hoping (against all odds) that BD will do better than 1st Test for the following reason:

- The team (batsman and bowlers) is young and they will be better adjusted this time.
- They missed few chances (catches) that could have motivated our young blowers more. They were not bad at the beginning of the innings.

- Miraj didn't played his role in 1st TEST bleeding too many runs. Fileders also didnt helped either.
- SS showed some fighting batiing, so is Riyad.

- Tamim looks like getting back his form. He just need to realize that the team needs him more than 2 session.
- I am hopeful about Sadman. May be turn out to be a good find for our test team.
- Momin failed. may be he will provide some support this time.
- Mithun is not propert #4 test batmsan, but his back is in the wall. He may provide some 50s this time, who knows.
- I still have high hope about Litton. I hope he will not disappoint me this time.
- Our FBs didn't get much wicket, but I really like our thre FBs (in 1st TEST). May be this time they will get some quick wicket and things will be completely different.

- The straightforward shortfall strategy is working for NZL well for this series (and past series). But I see hope in our young players, may be they (atleast some of them) are learning from 1st TEST (and ODI) and making adjustment and may be we will see some process (in that aspet) in this test i.e. how to handle constant short-ball/bouncers.

Yes I may be expecting too much from the team, but if I have to dream, this is the time to dream for something great (to happen).

Good Luck BD team.

BC is very inactive. I have created a WhatsApp Group. PM me if you wish to join.

All the members there are from BC, roughly 30 members. More lively then BC for sure.

Roey, this blatant advertising of your addas needs to stop. Do it in your own dedicated adda thread, not anywhere else.

This makes BC even more inactive

I love Match Adda in these match threads.

I agree. I have joined this group, Mufi initiated me. And it is actually more active, because they don't curb down on freedom of speech. I can use the C word for Rahim as many times as I want there. Feels great. Admins would be well advised to let people speak their minds on this forum, or else the exodus shall continue.

Hahahaha, I was waiting for such a post. Now that you have mentioned it, I will do it no more. Honestly, I kinda feel icky too doing it. But since in the day of the match itself, no one had created a match thread, I went along and created one. And did a little plugging of The Yorker's IG for my efforts. So there.

Next time there is no match thread in the day of the match, I will not create a match thread. You have my word.

So if no play today and toss is spun tomorrow, follow target will be 150 or 100 less than the first team's score?
