Default Imrul kayes and delwar hossain going to australia

Imrul kayes and delwar hossain going to australia for a 3 week training. They will leave Dhaka for brisbane on 17th may.
We all know Imrul is a promising opening batsman playing for mohammedan.
But this is the first time i heard of delwar hossain. He is pace bowler, plays for surjotorun.
Good luck to both of them

Hope the boys does learn something out of this experience, rather than indulge them in parties, booze and babes,.

I am doubtful how helpful this three weeks training will be. Players who went through this training in the past (Tushar Imran, Shafaq Al Zabir, Shahin Hossain, Nazmus Sadat, etc) hardly had shown any improvement afterwards.

Good point. But so is the case with our players playing so many international matches. We always thought they will learn something...but they never did.

I never thought exposure will need to be backed up with success due to the exposure. And sending Imrul and Delwar to Australia will only mean more international exposure. If they are not like our current bunch (for which, there's a possibility), the will show improvement. The worst that can happen is they play better than our current bunch...coz then we'll have to go through yet another "team selection" issue.

3 weeks isn't much to learn anything, but if they take what they're taught in these 3 weeks and continue to practice them once it's over then they have a chance of using it to improve. i believe khaled mashud at the start of NCL season said delwar hossain was a very good prospect.

What our players need to learn first is HOW to learn.

'UCHCHO SHIKHKHARTHE BIDESH GOMON'

Atleast, they will learn a few things to build on it through their own efforts later.

Problem is that; most of them don't continue to practice for self improvement.

'just a bidesh' ferot label gives them a few bucks more in the domestic league/impress firends, family & Gf; and they are happy with that achievement.

Sad but very true Banfan.

They should look beyond the short-terms.

Default Fabulous! Imrul kayes and delwar hossain going to australia

I think to win any game the training is essential for the success. Whether you go for the cricket or div for the foot ball. Its a fabulous decision of the Imrul kayes as well as the delwar hossain to take to training and be perfect in the field at the time of game.

Cause Brisbane is MY hood! Nothing to do with the fact that the Australian Cricket Academy is here. Wonder if they need a tour guide..

Edit: Just read that this is old. Did they ever come then?

Training, exposure and experience means nothing if you can't work hard during the nets, practice matches and in the actual games to get rid of your weaknesses.

A very few of our players has done that. Those who have, are performing, and those who haven't are not performing.
