I voted Australia and India: anyway I really can't get much interested in this competition... a world tournament just few months before the World Cup only looks like a sort of warm-up for the teams IMO.

Good news,Lara recovered and is playing .He won the toss and West Indies will field.Chanderpaul also recovered .India expects Yuvraj,Sehwag and Dravid to come back in form.RP Singh replaced Powar.Hope to see a good contest ,not a one sided affair.250 will be a good score.

WI started well after an average performance from India.

Most probably WI gonna win this match comfortably.

Not yet. The spin attack is working. the runrate is creeping. With the factor of WI collapse, I say the match is still evenly balanced.

Spin attack is really working now. They pegged back WI and now 60 runs in 12 overs very hard task in this type of wicket and outfield.

a great Game. What a nail-biting finish.India definitely needed some more runs.West Indies quick loss of wkts in the end was surprising. It was not a big total.CONGRATS to WEST INDIES.they have gone to the semis

India vs Australia will be a hell of a match, but with the current form of Indian Batsmen ,I doubt they can beat Aus.

WI hold their nerves and won at the end almost giving away the match in the process. But I must question Dravid why not using MM Patel's last two overs? He was the most economical pacer in their side.

Munaf Patel injured his bowling arm while fielding and was taken to a local hospital for a precautioary x-ray, which revealed a bruise on the wrist.
He bowled well in his first spell with figures of 8-2-29-1.

yeah not so good...and as a WI's fan, it is very painful...can't explain its depth. I wonder why the WI’s tail Enders does this crap always recently. Without this now WI is a very good ODI team.

Loved the reaction of Samuels after hitting the winning runs against India, and so unfortunate India would have to wait for some time before they can avenge this defeat, but I doubt whether that'll happen anytime soon in the future after observing India's performance of late.

Brian Lara once again cited Greg Chappell's comments - that West Indies' poor run of form had made it difficult for them to win close games - as the spur for a thrilling three-wicket triumph at the Motera Stadium.
.....
"Going back to that statement that Greg [Chappell] made in Jamaica, the guys are really determined each time they get out on to the field against India. We've done that in the Caribbean, and in Malaysia we had a win and a loss. Here again, most importantly, playing India at home, the guys knew the enormous task it was.

Good response by Lara. Chappell need to know what to tell and how to tell to the reporters.

Thanks Fazal for remembering that quote. This quote always inspires WI to play well against India. The result is: After making that quote India find themselves as a losing team for 6 times in 7 matches. Thanks a lot to chappell.

I hope now Indian “Big Mouth Press” and “Big Mouth Indian Supporters” leave WI alone and think about their team very much.

BCB can lend some custom made moshari to the Indian Cricket team.
