BabuBangla bhai...thank you for saying what I was thinking about modern cricketers..they just know about money.
I am also suspicious about few players integrity...and remember our new pacer happy face while in Zimb holding those 'shobuj kagoj'...
I think there are five to six young players...

All they need to buy is our no1 striker Mashrafe mortaza and no1 minnow basher Shahriar Nafees. I am sure they already got a call from the bookies. Now a offer of 100 crore rupees each will be too good to reject i think.

It is most likely that they will think," how much i am going to earn for playing a lifetime? may be 1 crore, 2 crore or maximum 10 crore. But in the end when i will be out of form, they will throw me out of the team anyway. So, its better to take the 100 crore and live life happily ever after"

What do you think guys..?

Thanks BB for raising this very valid but sensitive issue in modern day cricket. Before now, BD never played significants role unsettling bookies money making plan. No body should start blaming our players before they have done anything wrong. But it would be stupid for us not to keep in mind that there is a chance that there will another force trying to create pressure to our players. And we all know we are human beings, some are stronger and some are weaker in nature.

Upto now, we didn't have to deal with theses kind of issues. But now its important that the management take appropriate action and create shield so that the players are protected from any kind of outside pressure and corruption where lots of money is involved.

As fans, we should NOT start accusing players left and right without any evidence. We shouldn't blame players before they have done anything wrong. But on the other hand we shouldn't ignore this issue also as if it doesn't exist in modern day cricket where money dictate most of the things and the involvement of bookies.

So ignore these negative message BB. Thanks for raising this very sensitive but great point. As usual, some people will overreact to this sensitive issue without reading and trying to understand what you are trying to say. But I think you did a great service to BD cricket by appropriately raising this issue in right tone and at the right time.

Salute to you Boss !!!!

I just came out of a Indian cricket forum. Some there actually beleive that Bermuda-BD game is fixed and Bermuda will win. Now you can't blame them because this is their last rescource. while I have total faith on our players I am afraid these Indian bookies can do anything like bribing the umps. But then I also beleive that Allah will protect us from such evils.

Now umpires might be against us, that is what i did not think of. We have to win this match at all cost. India seem to gave up their hopes already.

i was thinking about the same thing.

10 thousand USD= 6 lakh taka
100 thousand USD= 60 lakh taka
1 million USD=600 lakh taka. more money than a b'deshi player will ever see or need in his life.
this will be seriously tempting to a player. but God knows integrity has no price. a man is nothing w/o integrity.

yeah and it will be blatanly obvious too. bermuda was all out for 45 runs against england and gave 400+ run to india. i mean it will be EXTREMELY difficult to lose against BER.

I dont think we have to worry abt this. Our players are faithful and they will make us PROUD. If BD looses (Allah na koruk) it will be beacause they played really, really, really poorly and not because somebody bribed them. I will never question our players.

Just a small correction here,
I USD = 68.975 Taka ( Exchange rate in Mar 23)
