Default Champions Trophy 2009 at SA

Batting paradise!!

SA ready to win a trophy, finally!! All pieces are put in place. De Villiers, Parnel, Steyn, Gibbs, Smith all ready to go. With spinners putting their hands up.

Ind, Dhoni-Kristen combo has worked wonders. They have built a great program there. Certainly they will challenge every one.

Ponting's Australia has slipped a little but they still have weapons to make it to the finals.

SL, bowling is excellent. However, this is a batting paradise so it all depends on the top order clicking.

Pak, as unpredictable as they can be.

NZ well they are short of confidence and experience. One match can make a difference but I doubt.

England, I am not sure why they are making the trip? Ashes are over isn't it? They will be laughing stock I presume. Shear entertainment will come out from their corner.

WI should be the whipping boys for the other Group 1 teams.

It will be a shock if the SF list doesn't read SA, IND, AUS and SL.

Will probably only check the score at the end of the day as I'm really not excited about this tournament at all.

BD should organize a '2nd Tier Trophy' at the same time and invite ZIM, IRE, AFG, NZ, WI and ENG (yes those three would enjoy this tournament more anyways)

I reckon it is the wrong section .
FYI I opened a thread about the warmups.
I am eagerly waiting for this knock-out tourney which cajoles
the boredom of World Cup group stage matches.

A little bit a bounce that is about it. Anything full from the phast bowlers will be dealt severly by the quality batsmen and ura-dhura players as well. Look for 300 runs regularly even those would be chased down with frequest interval.

You truly can fantasize. Great that you are getting a great lesson so early in your life for free. "Some dream never gets fulfilled". This huskie is going down so bad...

I am probably one of the rare lazy people of BC, who spent 5 years here and still does not understand the fantasy league.
Recently, it seems fantasy leagues are more interesting than actual cricket.

Last ball boundary takes them to 62.
Another high scoring encounter awaits. Harsha nonchalant.

Even introduction of Morkel could not stop those Lankans.
What kind of bowling attack is this. Dilsha gets 50 with a four.
Only 13th over, already 92.

A no-ball boundary. Free hit coming.
16 of the over.
101/1-14
