They were pushing for More Goals to make up the Goal Difference.
After they gave up the 1st one, they should have parked the but they pushed for another. Cutiniho had a great chance and than Moses had an empty net in Stoppage time.
Man City had to score a goal in the 93rd Minute on the last day to win the Title a few years ago. Lets see how they cope with pressure against Villa tomorrow.

Liverpool would never have parked the bus. They do not play like Chelsea. They are mostly all out attack which leaves the defence shaky at times. The way Liverpool win the ball is by pressing high. You will see that most of Liverpool's goals are from interceptions or when the opposition lose the ball near the half way line. They don't really build up play like Arsenal or Man City do.
But Cricman it wasn't like Liverpool were trying to score more goals when they were 3-0 up. Rogers subbed attacking threats Sterling and Sturridge off.

Moses is terrible and Coutinho is an attacking midfielder as opposed to Sturridge who is a striker.

Liverpool were pushing even after the deflected Goal that made it 3-1. Sturridge hasn't been fit to play the Full 90 in since his Injury IMO.
They got burned on the Counter ... Well Glen Johnson did. Glen Johnson trying to defend Cavani and Suarez at the World Cup is going to be jokes.
Need to bring back Pepe Reina, Mignolet hasn't helped this season at all. Hopefully Villa does liverpool a favor the way Sunderland did a few weeks ago.

Liverpool should have thrown some cash at Fabio Coentrao when they had the chance. He is in beast mode right now and would have fixed Liverpool's fullback problems.

Emre Can: Liverpool agree to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder
Liverpool have agreed a deal in principle to sign Bayer Leverkusen's Germany Under-21 midfielder Emre Can.
The 20-year-old, who prefers to play in central midfield, has a £10m release clause in his contract and Liverpool have now met that figure.
The deal is set to go through, subject to documentation being completed.
Can, who is of Turkish descent and can also play in defence, joined Leverkusen from Bayern Munich last summer in a deal worth £4m.
The Frankfurt-born player caught the eye of Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers with a series of combative and athletic performances that helped Leverkusen finish fourth in the Bundesliga.

Barcelona will meet Liverpool striker's release clause
Barcelona have told Liverpool they will meet the release clause in striker Luis Suarez's contract.
The clause is understood to be about £75m, and Liverpool are not prepared to sell the 27-year-old for less.
After "productive" talks with Barcelona this week, the Reds are trying to establish if Chile forward Alexis Sanchez will move in part-exchange.
Uruguay international Suarez is serving a four-month ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.
Barcelona are willing to include Sanchez as part of the deal, but if the Chile forward opts to stay, Liverpool are prepared to sell Suarez in a straight deal.
Suarez, who joined the club for £22.7m from Ajax in 2011, has four years remaining on his contract at Anfield.
Liverpool chief executive Ian Ayre spent much of Wednesday in discussions with senior Barcelona officials in London.
"The talks held were productive," a senior Liverpool source told BBC Sport. "There are sensible expectations on both sides.
"Further talks and discussions will take place but no deal has yet been finalised."

Luis Suarez: Liverpool & Barcelona agree deal for striker
Liverpool have agreed to sell striker Luis Suarez to Barcelona in a five-year deal thought to be worth about £75m.
The Uruguay forward, 27, is serving a four-month ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini during the World Cup.
Suarez, who won the PFA Player of the Year award last season after scoring 31 league goals, will travel to the Spanish club next week for a medical.
"Luis is a very special talent and I thank him for the role he has played," said Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers.
Suarez, last season's Premier League top scorer, signed for Liverpool from Ajax in 2011 for £22.7m, and had four years left on his contract.
"I hope you can all understand why I have made this decision," said Suarez, who is banned from "all football-related activity" as he serves his third suspension for biting an opponent.
"This club did all they could to get me to stay, but playing and living in Spain, where my wife's family live, is a lifelong dream and ambition. I believe now the timing is right."

Luis Suarez today issued the following statement to the club's official website, Liverpoolfc.com.
"It is with a heavy heart that I leave Liverpool for a new life and new challenges in Spain. Both me and my family have fallen in love with this club and with the city.
"But most of all I have fallen in love with the incredible fans. You have always supported me and we, as a family, will never forget it, we will always be Liverpool supporters.
"I hope you can all understand why I have made this decision. This club did all they could to get me to stay, but playing and living in Spain, where my wife's family live, is a lifelong dream and ambition. I believe now the timing is right.
"I wish Brendan Rodgers and the team well for the future. The club is in great hands and I'm sure will be successful again next season.
"I am very proud I have played my part in helping to return Liverpool to the elite of the Premier League and in particular back into the Champions League.
"Thank you again for some great moments and memories. You'll Never Walk Alone."
