Last year I came across this BBC documentary on Science and Islam. No this documentary didn't try to show/prove what the Quran says about science. This documentary covers the history of scientific advancement made by muslim scholars under muslim regimes in and around middle east. The main idea of the documentary was to investigate if there are medieval muslim scientists who should be spoken of along side well known figures like Galileo, Newton or Einstein.
This documentary is almost 3 hour long. But I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you are a history buff like me, you will definitely enjoy it. I don't know where else to share, so might as well share the link in this thread.
