I would've liked it alot more if Shaqib was scoring some runs. He desperately needs to get his batting form back, its really essential for the Bangladesh team. I was happy because it looked like he was on the road to regaining his form when he scored 90 in his fitst First-Class county match but after that its been very dissapointing. I mean we know he is a good bowler already but since he is an allrounder and bats at number 5 for us, he needs to take his batting alot more seriously. Infact I wont mind, if he doesnt get that many wickets in his county games as he is already proven to be a good bowler, instead, I would be alot more happy if he was consistent in his batting. I believe he really has alot to learn in how to build an innings and can use some of the things as shown by his county teammates' batting in the game

^^ Why doesn't anyone congratulate Shakib in the field when he takes wicket? Looked like a lifeless team to me. No wonder they keep losing every single match.

Nothing wrong with that because he IS a bowling allrounder. Now we all love him to be a perfect balance between the two, but still I'd rather prefer him to be the bowling allrounder than the batting allrounder.

Ah, that sums it up. Commies for such match sucks, so I seldom hear the commentary. Good that he played according to the situation. Hope he does well with the bat in the upcoming matches

He always bowls well, that's nothing new.

He needs to do something about his batting because he bats at number 5 for Bangladesh and is an essential part of the batting line-up. Getting good at a thing you are already good at while neglecting your deficiencies isnt a sensible way of thinking. He needs to use his brain more and take his time while batting instead of rushing all the time like he has a train to catch or something

No wonder Shakib feels uneasy in that team.

Shakib has to overcome this toughness. Then he will realize the hursh part of reality. but hope this attitude does not impact him negatively rather make him more hungry to perform to be at his best.

Meanwhile he should improve his batting. It was really torturous to see how he got out to that bowler last match playing same shot three times in a row. That was not needed at all even you are instructed to go after the destruction.

Hope Shakib makes way to other good BD cricketers to the county like Tamim, Mashrafee etc.

Good luck to Shakib on his 50th FC match. Thats big achievement if you are a Bangladeshi cricketer because in 10 year since we start playing FC matches in Bangladesh, we still have not got any player who played 100 FC match.

Trivia: Which Bangladeshi played the most FC matches?

You are right. Any way I thought no one played 100 FC. He must be the first and only.
