Shakib should be given to ball more and he should try his best to get two more wickets...not sure if the pitch will deteriorate in next few days...Shakib should also concentrate on his batting this time...

Seems like this pitch is favouring spinners more.

Yes, Shakib comes back and gets a wicket with his first delivery.

Wicket maiden for Shakib.

New ball taken. Thats it for Shakib today. I would say good day but could have been better if those two catches were taken.

Cox is just an 18yrs old kid. He will make mistakes (even more than Mushy) but Krvezee is 20yrs old and same goes for him. Just bad luck for Sakib. May be his luck will turn when he goes to bat.

Shak could easily end up with a 5-fer and cost Glamorgs a low total!

To be honest, I dont really care how Worc. performs/plays, the only player I care about is Shakib and if he keeps on taking 3-4 wickets in a game and score a 100 every now and then I would be happy

To be honest with you, If his contribution brings his team worcs few wins than he will cement his place in worcs or get an offer from a better county team.

Yeah, but it comes down to him performing well doesn't it?
I mean if Shakib had a British passport he would have been amongst the first 3-4 to be picked, but being an overseas player means a lot is expected of him. Hope he scores a 100 today, his team and more importantly he himself needs it badly

Listening to the radio you can hear all sorts of rumours. New one is, Hamish Marshall ex-NZ player trying to get Irish passport to play for Ireland after the WC2011. Ed Joyce will also return.

Imagine if this trend starts to occur ...reverse migration...
rejects going back to new member team will make them just too strong...
hopefully Shakib can make good impression and allow Tamim to play County atleast we will be playing with county players as we have no chance of bringing any overseas players in BD team

Today Solanki costs 50 runs by not giving the ball to Shakib earliar. His bowling changes are robotic which he sets before start of the match and there is no changes on situation demand. He always sticks to his pre-plan.

Glamorgan 369
Worcestershire 49/3 (18.1 ov)

Shakib is next in, have to do well with bat, or they are finished

Absolutely, Shakib has a knack of wrapping up the tail really quickly, despite knowing this Solanki persisted with the medium pacers and cost the team 30-40 runs. poor captaincy, poor top-order, poor co ordination, no wonder they are hovering around the bottom of the table.

Mitchell seems to be the only good batsman in the team. He is in-form. Scored 100 in both innings in the last game.

With the current batting form and style, I doubt Shakib will be scoring big today...he relies on shots and was successful in previous few occasions when luck also favored him. Though he is still young, the earlier he understand the form, the better it will be for his career. All I am hoping he contributes today with some scores. Little step at a time then we can expect more runs from him. The way he got out last game was painful to watch. Three same shots back to back which resulted his exit in the same over.
