Default Congrats Mahmudullah: This is the best Test innings ever played by a Bangladeshi

Hats off!! You will get your maiden century in due time.

I have never seen such grit and determination from a Bangladeshi batsman. The way he handled the situation and played with the tail-enders is simply amazing!!

Congrats to Riyad!! Really a special knock. Other batsmen of our team should see the video of this knock every time they come to crease in a test match.

The best innings ever by a batsman UNDER PRESSURE. My personal best Ash's 158 tho.

Nway, hats off to Riad. He has played a gem of an innings. Insha Allah he will get his maiden ton pretty soon.

He should move upto No 3 in the next innings.

1.Tamim
2. Imrul
3. Junaid
4. Rock
5. Mushy
6. Riyad
7. Ash
8. Shakib

This should be the batting order in my opinion. At least by this Shakib can ensured that at least Riyad or Mushy will ease the pressure off to some extent.

Ash's 158* was perhaps one of the finest test innings I have ever seen, no doubt the best test innings by a BD batsmen.
But this 96* would stand ahead of many many test centuries, an absolute masterclass. The way he built his innings, and the way he played with the tail enders was just unbelievable. A quality i thought BD batsmen did not posses.

I hope spmeone can send a message to Siddons about the batting places/ Ash and Shakib can come in the lower order and play their boom boom cricket.

Riyad more than often stabilizes an innings and grafts his score. Somehow, Sakib is losing his batting skills also.

Just before the end of the innings, I was comparing his "hundred" against all others. There may have been some cameo knocks but given the situation, none would have been more valuable.

Even though Mushfiq's century was a good one , fighting alongside the tailenders, it was always in a lost cause. Though that was not Mushfiq's or his partner's fault.

Nafis Iqbal's century is also quite important in this context. His century helped us get a rare draw to win our first series. But JO also scored big that day.

I suppose Shahriar Nafess' knock against the might of Australia [ and Warne ] should also not be discounted.

But in either of those two situations, the team was not in trouble at the time.

Nafis' century probably meant the team did not get into trouble and a defeat. So I rate that one quite high. But the quality of bowling today was much better.

Of course, Mahmud cannot bat higher up the order because we need a "experienced" batsman who would show the youngster's how to charge down the wicket like a drunken sailor and then [ again and again ] castigate himself why did he do such a stupid thing. This happens virtually after every innings. Dravid was almost decapitated as a result of this display of remorse. Shouldn't such realisation dawn before the act of suicide ?
