Default Sorriest excuse for a bowler in the BPL....

Peter Trego wins this hands down, right?

People that have bowled the odd over don't count. But amongst regular bowlers, has anyone been as poor?

Economy rate in the double digits - consistently poor bowling, and the release valve for the opposition.

Horrendous.

He is after all, if I may, a second class English bowler. Top of the table amongst wicket-takers in the DPL, but the moment he faces some stiff competition, his ER rises beyond 10. What does that tell you about the quality of the DPL?

Trego has been poor but what about his teammate Abul Hasan Raju? He was absolutely awful in yesterday's game. I don't want to be too harsh on him as he's still only a young kid but he was like a rabbit caught in the headlights. He doesn't seem have that youthful swagger and bravado that some of his u19 teammates have. Being a pace bowler this wouldn't have been a bad trait for him to have.
