I nominate Ash! That's the only way he can keep playing but not at the expense of our national men's team.

Brilliant initiative! As someone who has a great female student I can say how wonderful it is to have females playing the game and being enthusiastic.

Let's hope it brings success

Good initiative. But really need sth similar for mens format preferably to attract talent for age group level. Look how easy it was for Sri Lanka to unearth Akila Dananjaya. It was just like that. I bet there are guys like that in Bangladesh too. Maybe they dont have the luxury of getting professional coaching or coming to Dhaka or playing school cricket, or heck even studying at a school.

I heard on the need how there's about 400 women applying! Like...WOW" & whilst those pics to some degree show the diverse age groups of women, I saw an interview of a lady in her late 20s applying because her husband encouraged her too ( what a nice hubby),to hearing interviews of early teens applying. So good to see so many women applying

Great initiatives by BCB. Hope they could open a cricket school for the women like BKSP.

Wow...without being condescending, that's genuinely cool.

Great to see the turnout, and hopefully there is a proper plan in place for the post tryouts stage of this initiative.
