What do you mean by World cup?

He has won a tournament in India and he hasn't even qualified to play the Asian Tour. After he reaches the Aisan tour, he will qualify to play the qualifiers for PGA and if he qualifies there, he can participate in PGA tours. Most of the Major tours have their own qualifiers as well.

Truely I have no idea about the WC thing in golf. Any links? The only major team tournament in Golf is the Ryder cup, played between US/Europe. I had no knowledge of a world cup in Golf. Please provide some info if you have.

That's not bad. With a little practice you can be consistently bellow 20 & that's very good for ametures. Do you play regularly? I mean 2/3 days a week or less?

I am consistently between 12-16 and in par 3 courses I am bellow 12 generally, as my short game is good. but due to not being so accurate with the longer Irons i go to 14 to 16 in standard courses.

These days can't manage time except on weekends. I love the time I spend in the courses.

Looks like you are pretty good yourself.

My problem is making time and putting. Recenly I have went back to street ball (basketball) and tennis. Less stress on pocketbook.

As for putting, most of the course are lightening fast here. Very hard to stop. As I am believer of never leaving a putt short . I haven't played in last few months (cold weather). May be will pick up in the summer.

He just won his first tourney in his second year!! Competing against Pros who all their life played and trained in better conditions and facilities. An achievement that many Pro player can't proclaim. There is no doubt this is big. Bigger than win at Cardiff. However, he has not become an Asian champion. He is leading the tour but I think this is just the beginning of the summer and 2/3 tournament has been played only. There are minimum of 15-20 tourney in a season.

Nevertheless, unbelievable achievement no doubt. Congrats Siddiqur Rahman.

So when you say Asian champion what does that mean? Is he the best in Asia? Where does he stand among the top golfers? Any chance of seeing him alongside Woods, Rose and Mickelson any time soon? Sorry I'm totally clueless in regards to golf. I just wanna understand the magnitude of his achievement before I get excited. And in any case what he has achieved is already very impressive. From ball boy to champion. Woods-esque.
