Soumya Sarkar is back. Along with 5 new faces. Tamim and Mushfiqur have suffered injuries to their bicep and wrist, respectively.

Although Sri Lanka have the longer losing streak heading into this match, Bangladesh's T20 record since the 2016 World T20 has also been awful. They have lost 10 of their 11 most-recent games.

I am excited to see Afif and Zakir in the mix. I think Afif has what it takes to succeed in international level. Zakir too looks strong and has a good technique. Ariful is there too, useful finisher.

In a long time we actually picked a worthy side, would have been better if Tamim and Sakib played tho. Also felt that Anamul was unlucky to miss out.

For someone reason I always disliked Apu and also that cobra celebration of his, starting from BPL -1. He also played quite a bit for the teams i didn't support.
