I get the feeling that if we can beat SA, we can make it to the Semis. Seems like then we'll meet our bunny NZ on the QF.

I know it is a hope too much, but we can all wait and see. But still I would like to go into this match knowing we already made it to the QF. Can WI do that?

The South African team that played against India looks unbeatable by Bangladesh. SA really has to perform way below their mark and Bangladesh has to play even better to have a chance for Bangladesh.

Cannot miss catches like we did today. Cannot just bowl and expect the batsmen to make the mistake. Have to bowl wicket taking deliveries. Have to find gaps by using the wrist and footwork.

A few things. If SA wins against Ireland, they will be on a more relaxing mode because they will be already thru. Secondly, the pitch that they played against India suits them, and not going to be the pitch at Dhaka. Not to mention, we'll have the army of SLA's to suit the pitch that India did not have. So, if we play at the best of our potential, we can challenge them regardless of their level of play.

Tamim and Shakib needs to fire and we'll have a game on our hand. It SHOULD not be a walk in the park for SA.

SA will still go for the win to top the chart and play the number 4 of the other group, they do not want to play Australia/SL in QF.

The ball movement by Steyn, Morkel worries me. Our batsmen still not up there to face such moving deliveries. Their reflexes are not that quick yet.

We cannot be truly happy, unless we beat South Africa, in Bangladesh!

Oh pleeeeeease

They rested Tahir against India, so not to risk him

I wouldnt be surprised, if both Dale Steyn and Morkel are rested for this match

I was really glad with the team selection today....was probably the best BD team playing....

Same team should be played on Sat, but just removing shuvo for nayeem...as SA has dangerous lefties...smith, duminy etc...

Win the toss...i say bat first, try getting around 230/240 mark, should be enough on a mirpur pitch and defend it...moreover, i guess Tsotsobe will be played against us, given our relative weakness against left arm pacers...

SA could not chase 161 even after 1st wicket partnership of 60+....we can take a lot of inspiration from that game....

Without hope, why do we live bro?

I also thought the same. But NZ looks fairly strong now with Oram in the team.

If SA win against Ireland...I'm pretty sure SA will rest few of their key players so they can be 100% fresh for the QF's

WI don't have a motivating factor??? how about qualification for the quarterfinals, is that enough? If WI lose to both England and India, and then Bangladesh beat SA then WI will be knocked out. By giving their all and beating England they can save themselves from worry later on.
