Well. Whoever has been around for a long time should have gotten used to this by now. It's a typical Miraz style...where he will first open a (short-lived) thread to let you know about the interview, and then open another thread to actually post the interview. And then, when it's a front page article, there will be another thread for its announcement.

Kinda silly, bit he gets the crowd goin.

Miraz, please don't publish if those are mostly complains, excuses & unfulfilled promises.
But Only if there are some real answers to his criticisms. Hope you asked him some of those.

Good initiative anyway.

And Kabir bhai, there might be two new threads to post the interview-one in Bangla and one in English. Remember Mohammad Rafique interview?

As myself:
নাই মামার চেয়ে কানা মাম সà§à¦°à§‡à§Ÿ! Here we have been squabbling for months about JS. When one of us fans is actually able to make contact and get us something beyond conjecture, we should celebrate and not carp about # of threads opened to promote it. B'sides, I'm thinking Miraz's announcement should put the constant JS flame-wars on hold for a few days.

Is he allowed to give interviews on BD cricket without permission from BCB (assumption: BCB approval was not taken; if it's taken, no worries)? I heard he already had troubles making comments on Sydney Morning Herald.

Wonderful job by Mr. Miraz - truly appreciated. This will help us gain a lot of insight into the approach and the hurdles they are encountering.

I am equally interested in seeing the questions, as much as I am of the answers to it.

I am also interested in Mr. Miraz's own reactions to the variaous answers, assuming the questions end up being objective (most likely to be so).

Miraz bhai, by any chance were you promoting Rogaine to Siddons during the interview?

Hmmmm. Here we go again. Giving our Editor a hard time. Miraz, i got your back. Open ten thread if you need to. In this day and age, people should be used to this. When a blockbuster is planned for 2010, they'd float a website with only one page, the page will have just one image with a catchy slogan. After a few months, they'll announce the arrival of the TEASER trailer. Couple months later, the Teaser trailer is released and available on the website. You can see where this is headed, right?

So, Getting an interview with JS, after ALL the hoopla we've had in the forum, is a pretty big deal. I'm tempted to simply create a one page website with something like - HE IS TALKING (lame, I know)... Come to think of it, we could have that on the front page. You go to Banglacricket.com, the blank screen will come up with those words, for 3-5 second. Then the actual page will appear. Can you imagine the hysteria (mainly cause folks will wonder - Who the heck is talking????)????

Miraz, are you recording the interview by any chance? I want the boot leg version before its worldwide release.

This is great news! Kabir bhai you're being a little harsh, there's nothing wrong wioth opening a thread b4 the interview is ready. After all perhpas it gives us the opportuinity to contribute (though admittedly the interview may already have taken place).

Miraz bhai, I'd be interested to see what your feelings are after the interview. Will Banglacricket's harshest siddons critic, soften or become angrier? Time will tell...Am looking forward to it...
