He can't do worse than Sunny..he also gets some movement in the air which has caused major problems this tourney Taskin and Al Amin bowl short of a good length but Rony pitches it up.

Lets remember Yuvi and Raina in the middle order so Sunny in the middle overs would just play into their hands. Nasir for Mithun would improve our batting and bowling as long as Mash comes in before Nas in the batting order.

If we go by the essential hypothesis of grassy pitch as introduced by the captain of mighty Indian team, he and the MVP's like Yuvraj, Kohli, Jadeja, Rohit etc. should not play in the final. According to him and BCCI team management there is no point playing in such pitches as this will have little or no effect to the much needed match practice for World Cup.

Therefore, it can be concluded that, abiding the question raised by Dhoni, Indian team management will rather rest those players and try their bench strength with a plan to prepare them for other series that will be played in a seaming condition such as Champion's Trophy.

The UAE match today can be the starting point for this secondary team....

Point to note, without the current best pacer of the world, BD is actually a depleted side.

We will win this. Here is why:
While India is the stronger side, their mind in on lifting the WC trophy not Asia Cup. We are the hungrier side and we will fight as hard as we possibily can with the crowd behind us.

India's batting is awesome but so is our bowling. If there is pace and bounce we got the bowlers to keep their big hitters under control. In the first game our batting didnt fire...but now Soumia is back, Tamim is back, Mushy and Shakib yet to fire and these guys are bound to put in that match winning performance. Our batting should be able to do heavy damage against Indian pace attack this time.

We enter the final with momentum and pressure lifted. We beat India comprehensively at home in 50 over cricket and now we enter the final overcoming Amir and co in a tight contest. We know we are ranked below Afghanistan and yet here we are, in the final. We play the same brand of fearless cricket India plays but this is our turf.

We have unlocked the secret to winning in t 20 and there is no stopping us now.

Enjoy Nohit Sharma hitting double century against UAE. Not our cup of tea.

What do the well-informed fans here think about the pitch? What will it look like? I highly doubt it will be a batting track like it was against Bakistan.
Batting pitch is absolutely na-na. Same with pitches with grass. The pitch will be brown-slow pitch, where ball comes to bat late. Top order Indian batsman are dependent on timing, so they will falter. Indian batsman will mis-calculate the par score, if they bat first. Slower track will not help spinners as batsman gets a lot of time to see the turn. But Bangladesh will miss Mustafiz on this. Plus, Bumrah and Pandya are also primarily variation bowlers - they could do something, unlike Umesh and Aaron. Yuvraj has a tendency to get stuck in slow pitches.

To win, Bangladesh needs to chase. Dew will make things easier later but early ball won't come to bat. Get Yuvraj stuck and don't let Rohit stay for long. Attack Nehra and watch out Aswin.

Highly doubt management has anything to say regarding the pitch. To my knowledge Gamini makes whatever he wants to make. He does not care. In other parts of BD, might be a different case though.

I presume you live in Dhaka. Can you please trespass into the ground and check the pitch condition for us rather than blabbering here. Thanks

Run to your local store and buy plenty of tissues. You will need some to wipe off your tears in Sunday and some to wipe off Naina's

India have won a lot of trophies the last several years. They have done it with favorable pitches, but also with focus and professionalism. They will know a setback will impact WT20 preparation.

We have 2 advantages. Home field and crowd, and the fact that our momentum is much higher than baseline vis a vis India. India are still heavy faves.

Bangladesh may win the trophy because they have capable groundsmen which India lacks.

99% Bangladesh 1% India. Odds are against India so India should not bother about this final, avoid injuries and start preparing for the WCt20.
