Should Saurav Ganguly \"rested\"

It has been long since Saurav Ganguly been on form. Should he be rested against the ODIs against Srilanka and South African and the new kids be given opportunity ? Should he be asked to go to nets and take enough training and play at domestic level and get into forms and then be taken to the Indian team ? Should Rahul Dravid be given capitancy of team India ?
