Captaincy has ruined another one
Bashar's form dipped right after the Pakiston 100, didn't score another 100 again
Modon: 2 Centuries Sandwiched between Single Digit Scores
Shakib: After WI C and Zimbabwe, he made Lotus look like Nostradmus, even put Modon/Aftab to Shame with these dismissals
Thank God Mashrafe is a bowler

Sakib not ruined yet, but in a danger zone.
He needs guidance now. But from who? Lotus Kamal and co? That is where the danger lies. Mighty Lotus is not going to give Sakib the breathing space, rather he is going demolish the young player to prove himself right.

if we make a batsman captain => he loses his form and common sense instantly
if we make a bowler captain => he gets injured instantly !
so, now it remains the wkt keeper => _________________ ! :/

I was saying since WI tour that he was riding his luck. It did not take long for him run out of his batting fortune.

no he isn't ruined .....its the utter humiliation done to him by a godfather which caused loosing inner power of a hero(for a while)...and I believe he will comeback. moreover team has done well so far under his captaincy....better than those previous captains.
এই দিন দিন না আরো দিন আছে

I hate this Argument!
WI-C and Zimbabwe
You can say what you want but Ash was a much better stratigist, just a dope with the bat
I still think Shakib is a Great Bowler

Yeah, under Ash we won ODIs against real G8 teams, and even came close to beat a G8 team in a Test!

Shak will definitely come back strong, but right now, i'm very disappointed with the way he's approaching his batting. He's not willing to show any respect to the opponents or the condition in any form of cricket.

Shakib is worse than Ash.
He's just more lucky.
Kamal should have had him lick his shoes, the ungrateful twerp

This actually had to happen. Though I believe, he has not ruined yet, but giving captaincy to him was not right decision as he was just improving as a cricketer and we should have left him alone. Like me, many members here was fearing for this when he was made captain and was against the decision.
Well, now we can only hope. He has not only need to concentrate on the field, but off the field as well, as Lotus will always be after him and would not let go any chances to show Sakib his might.

Today Sakib showed ZERO respect to his hard working fellows, ZERO brain in his head, ZERO pride being a Bangladeshi ... as it appears to me. I am no longer let him disrespect and humiliate fan like me big time, wrong time, wrong way. No way I can let these arrogant, brainless, heartless losers play around with my respect and support. No way by such brainless, heartless losers like Sakib today.
I have enough of these sheer madness [win or loss is not the matter]. I hereby withdraw myself and my support as a fan and will not show up till the day it proves they truly care and respect FANS & TEAM. Till that day I shall remain mute watcher, Adios forever.

Shakib has been performing day in day out for two years. He was due for some bad patches just to prove that he is human too. I am sure he will come back from here and perform again.[with bat]
With ball, he is still our best bowler

shakib is a great player...but with India he just doesn't click...i think he tries to over perform against india...seen that in t20 against them...i guess ipl is in back of his mind when he plays with india...otherwise i see no reason for hitting the first ball for six and then trying to go over the top and getting caught...but he will be back to his oldself and a gem against nz....i am sure...

Its not captaincy which ruined Shakib. He is not top order material. You cant expect Shakib to hang around 200 balls without playing some risky shot. In my opinion no.7 position is the best place for him.
Btw he is bowling well atm. He took 9 wkts in current series. Even Shane Warne and Murali struggled against India.
And Bangladesh team also did well against India in this series. You should count that India is unstoppable in subcontinent and no g8 teams come near to them as far as they are playing in these condition. We have to wait till England series to judge ourselves.

Btw you have to count the fact he is under immense pressure which is put by BCB. They humiliated Shakib by announcing unfit Mash as captain, BCB president issue also distracted him. He is not also given full captaincy yet. How many interim captains lead a team for such a long time in international cricket?

Yep, Shakib is no better as a captain against top teams than all the previous captains.

This way too early a call. We first had the impression that captaincy brought out the best in Shakib. He's not someone to bow down like this. He'll be back with a roar, I'm sure of it.
And FYI, Bashar scored another 100 against West Indies - his third and his highest score, during his captaincy.

Pls dont bash Sakib so much, he is still the same player, going through a lean patch mentally. He always attack when he comes out to bat, he will not try to play ones or twos, Tamim was like that, always trying to get maximum runs with minimum effort. Eventually, he will change for the better.

we have to see things on perspective : Shakib bowled well , but has to improve a lot his batting .
and Collectivity our performance is not so bad : 2 month ago the same indian team beat SRI LANKA in two consequtive test by 1 innings

I'm still shocked the way he played today! Very worried about what the hell was going through his mind. The team was in a decent position and he kept playing thos atacking shots.

yesterday tamim said that the assisant coach said to him "play scope shot , the ball didn't turn" and I think Shakib want to play the same innings

he said 'play sweep if there's no turn', not scoop. it helped tamim get to 150.
