We almost forgot about this gentleman. He is having quite a decent season for Dhaka Metro. Has hit couple of tons and averaging above 50.

Mehrab is still 27 and I hope he hasn't given up on a possible return to the national side. He had a very bright beginning and then just faded away.

I was expecting an embarrassment - He's really good...as a singer, poor player, with poor technique, wouldn't get into our team now, sure he was talented enough, but coaching was crap and he's not anywhere near good enough, he's still young enough. he can learn footwork and become a better player, and get into the team in about 4-5 years time, if he stays in shape as a middle order batsman he should have about 7-8 year career left in him

I have actually seen a few Test players with worse technique than Mehrab. I think he wasn't mentally tough enough.

But, he could sing, though. Hope he hasn't burnt his guitar now that he has become a hujur.
