I would like to see more marketing prior to the tournament. There should be more adverts on BTV, national radio and newspapers a week or two before the tournament starts. The hype must be built up so that by the time the first BPL game arrives, everyone is eager with anticipation. As it stands, the general public don't really care about it till the tournament is on for about a week or so.

1. Need better cheer leaders.

2. Agree, there should be two separate drafts for local and international players. I will go one step further, there should be two separate league for local and international players.

3. No bouncers against local players by international players.

4. No on-field interview by Sheena when local players are batting. She is a kufa.

5. Shylet owner should be the model owner. She is a young women, full of makeup and jewelry and she can dance when Shylet wins. Compared to that Rajshahi owner is very ordinary, that's why they are losing.

No bouncers? these things are part of Cricket and if we get rid of them then we won't go anywhere in Cricket. Our batsman need to be fearless when facing these kind of deliveries not taking their eyes away from it, its only a Cricket ball small compared to the batsman.

The solution is pretty simple. Only allow 4 foreigners in the playing 11. I can bet you, that players like Rubel will get a chance in every match!!

Here is a million dollar question :: Why are Zim and AFG players are playing in every match, even when some of the BD national team players are sitting Idle?

Is BPL a hunting ground for associate nations or Bangladesh? The last I checked BPL is suppose to unearth Bangladeshi talents. How in the world is BPL going to unearth Bangladeshi talents, when even national team players are sitting idle. I sincerely hope that BPL only allows 4 foreign players in the playing 11.

The franchises will have to build their own cricket ground in their respective city by their own cost, like Tata who made their own ground in kochi, they can cut some share of money from their foreign recruits if they want in doing so, as the foreigners will be benefited in travelling all over beautiful bangladesh.

At the end of the tournament there should be a series between one All star team consisting of all foreign players who will play for free against our Bd national team.

The recruited foreign players will have to coach academic team or under-aged cricketers for one month for free as a tribute that they got selected in bpl at the first place

The bd batsmen will get one extra free hit for each foreign bowlers so that they can try out different shots against them.

The foreign cricket boards who will send their cricketers for bpl will be liable to take equal no. of bd players in their own leagues.

The boundary ropes should be extended when foreigners will be batting against our bd bowlers so that they can get their moneys worth.

These are some of the steps BCB can take to make bpl better and worthier

1. Get rid of Shamim
2. Get rid of Shamim
3. Did I mention getting rid of Shamim?
.....
4. Pay players properly on schedule.
5. Get more good players from Aus, SA, NZ. There are plenty of good non-national T20 hitters in SA. Also a few associate players like Tom Cooper.
6. Slash ticket prices and get more people in. More people = more success.

Its important that the franchises do more research into getting better foreigners for next season. It doesnt have to be a big name but their are so many good T20 batsmen. They dont have to be big names like Chris Gayle or Dale Steyn.

Players that should be targeted
Ben Laughlin
Jesse Ryder
Ben Cutting
Shaun Marsh
Dan Christian
David Miller
Quinton De Kock
Luke Pomersbach
Steven Croft
Ben Rohrer
Moin Ashraf
Adam Voges
Aaran Finch
Cameron White

They might all not be big names but they are all established T20 players who will really take BPL to a new level. BPL will be heaps more competitive with these players.

You are right. We got to get the basics right. And it starts with, "Hey lets start to pay people on time". Thats the most basic thing you can possibly do. Not paying people for their hard work is a "crime", punishable by law!! Seriously.

The second thing we should do is hire professionals with business management skills, people with MBA's and Marketing degrees to run the show. After all, BPL is a business venture. However, it doesn't seem like it. There is mismanagement and lack of glamour. Perhaps hire someone from the States?

BPL 2 seems worse than BPL 1. Thats because people ran out of excuses for their failures!! BCB can no longer say, "This is the First Second time we are holding such a big event, we are bound to make mistakes".

I think BPL2 is doin much better in term of quality of cricket. tbh I'm not concerned with these payment issues anymore, We are already well-tagged with these financial management irregularity issues in Bangladesh with Padma bridge, BPL1 etc. Everyone were expecting this to happen anyway, so no need to show mockery over inevitable stuff. I give up defending BCB on this issue, rather like to treat this as a typical desi attitude of our own standard of professionalism.
Thing that is irritating me more atm is this lack of interest in common ppl to spectate matches in stadiums, which is out of our nature imo.

Let the franchise recruit their own player scrap the auction system.

Franchises should get first priority to negotiate with their own players for the next season. If they dont strike up a deal then the player should be up for auction. Hate how completely different players are playing for different teams.

If a franchise can't pay the players fees in time then every single person in the franchise management will be forced to hit themselves over the head with a brick.

1. Get rid of the cheerleaders. Replace with a DJ/music band
2. Get rid of ALL commentators (may be except Arun Lal) and replace with new ones. It is time to look for 'new blood' to provide the Bangladeshi perspective. Are there any other former Bangladeshi cricketers who speak decent English?
3. Get rid of the current GC and get fresh management to run the league.
