It's usually the players who are not in the NT radar anymore that fall prey.

Thank god Shakib missed IPL this season. The more he stays away from this circus, the better.

International cricket is not a circus and should not be equated with IPL

Well, the international circuit has it's fair share of dirt as well. And you're speaking as if the IPL has a history of proven spot fixing allegations. In it's 6th edition, this is the first, correct me if I am wrong, spot fixing that has been caught!

And this circus you and Mr. Habib speak of, most of the International players wants to play in it.

What you talking about? The whole Lalit Modi era was corrupted, and so far 2 teams got banned from the league.

I knew I was missing something big. I stand partially corrected.

But this is the first instance of spot fixing. Right?

FIrst instance of someone getting busted..But most likely not the first instance of spot fixing or match fixing.

Even our BPL is not free from this. Mash, Raz and few other players were approached by those goons. We know about these because Those incidents came out to the media. So if they have an eye on BPL, i highly doubt that they were not active during IPL

Spot fixing, match fixing is a cancer and its spreading..Cricket, I feel sorry for you

Rajib, Raju and Rubel would've conceded those runs for free! The bookies should be mad at the IPL owners for not buying our Triple R.

^Social media's even less reliable than Motin Sir's batting. If true however, that'll be the end of Rahane's career. After all that promise and hard work.

i think the investigation is gonna find him guilty.... it would have to be a very well crafted plan to entrap this guy for whatever with such allegation as this does not only malign him but also malign the integrity of ipl, ?billion dollar business...

poor guy couldnt even execute the plan, they wanted 14 runs, he only gave 13.

beside it was delhi police that did the busting not some news or indepedent ipl anti corruption group.... i dont think delhi police would go public on this without good proof...
