Umar Akmal is a very similar batsman to his elder brother Kamran.

scorecard can be found here: http://www.cricinfo.com/australia/en...ch/402824.html
never seen umar akmal play but i've been following him for the last year or so after noticing he had an FC average of 75+ with a highest score of 248 and was only 17. thing is his name isn't mentioned very often as a prospect for the future.

Quick info on the Pakistani players
Bowlers
M Talha- Quite sharp but very raw! Won't be ready for test cricket for another year or so.
W Riaz- Left hander- Not as sharp as Aamer hence an inferior bowler but still sharp enough to get a few wickets here and there.
Naved Arif- Don't know much
Fahad Masood- Don't know much
A Rehman- Slightly overaged bowler but deserves a chance, IIRC he got 11 wickets in the test series vs SA and totally out bowled Kaneria.
Wicket Keeper
Sarfraz- He has played for Pakistan and looked alright with the gloves but not so much with the bat yet

who was it that said bollinger wasn't an international class bowler recently? think it was a former player but anyway he got 4 Pakistan A wickets today, the only aussie bowler to take any wickets.
Aus A made 230, ferguson made 60 and henriques made 48. the Pakistan A bowlers shared the wickets fairly evenly between each other with hafeez taking 3 and most others taking 2.
at stumps Pakistan A are struggling on 5/49 with umar akmal and fahad iqbal at the crease.
