Default The Fast and Furious Ebadat Hossain Thread.

Bowling Action

Brett Lee's Bowling action

gifs website
FreeGifMaker.me

Mitchell Starc's bowling action

Taskin Ahmed Bowling Action

Ali Ahmmed Manik is also another fast bowler, his hieght is 1.87 metres(Cricinfo)

So Ibadat is probably 1.84-1.86

Nope, I don't see any similarities to Brett Lee's action.

Good bowling action nevertheless.

My only concern is that he should deliver closer to the stump at the bowling crease.

His action is no way similar to Bret Lee's

I think the reason he is not coming closer to the stumps is because of the way he is releasing the ball.

The GIF in OP has both Ebadat and KI Rabbi (who has more round arm action). Ebadat actually was bowling pretty close to stumps. Look at the clip, the first pacer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9di1...ature=youtu.be

I think it is similiar to Brett but it is a clean action, that's what's impressive about it.

Its also worth noting Ebadat is from al Furqaan's home district of Moulvibazar.

140 from what we have heard. So around the same pace as Fizz, who is currently our quickest bowler.

If he can get it up to 145, that will be fast enough if he has control. Hope we see him for Lanka Tests.

Think someone mentioned it earlier today in a different thread.

Please don't overhype him like we do to every single potential national team debutant. We will never have a tearaway paceman from the current system. 135-140k is not express pace. Till now we couldn't even produce a pacer to surpass one-legged Masrafe's records. Our cricket culture doesn't allow a pacer to flourish. Raw talent will only take you so far.

I think his height is around 1.9 to 1.85 he is taller than Fizz for sure, I think his bowling action is closer to Starc than Brett Lee's

Now, if only we had a better bowling coach, we need to groom him to reach the 145s plus add some swing to it as well. He needs to be everything that Rubel Hossain could not be.

I am telling you guys, this bowler has got me so hyped up, he can be our right armed mitchell starc, he hits the deck hard, and will flourish in Australian/English conditions.

His bowling action is so solid. Its so easy to watch. I can watch it over and over again. That's how good it is.

The pace factory is looking good.
-Ebadat (right arm fast)
-Ali Ahmmed Manik (right arm fast)
-Rubel Hossain (right arm fast)
- Taskin Ahmed (right arm fast)
-Abu Hider ( Left Arm Fast Medium
-Mustafizur Rahman (Left Arm Fast Medium)
-Subhashis Roy (right arm Fast medium
-Abu Jayed (Right arm Fast medium)

Looks good on paper DinRaat, but never great at the ground-where it matters.

Ebadat's action looks nice. Abu Jayed, Hider were both good in BPL.

BCB has done sth wise by bringing on Champaka Ramanayake. But i feel we also need to change Walsh ASAP.

Btw Saifuddin also a likely prospect.

Yea, of course that is true, BD pacers implode in real matches. But.... I really hope this guy is an exception. I know some of us are battered by the fake talents(Hom,Mosharof Hossain Rubel) but I really hope this guy can be different. Even Taskin Ahmed has been much of a let down.

I hope in my generation I get to at least witness. A battalion of pacers ripping it up at the WACA in Perth, I don't care if we lose by an innings against Australia.I just want to see it happen.

Just imagine the likes of Taskin,Ebadat,Fizz and AH/Abu Jaye. Ripping it out in the bouncy highways of Perth.

Looks very promising, just don't hype him up to the Moon, let him grow at a natural pace

I am confident he will debut in SL series. You can't ignore a pacer with that much quality. At 23 years old, he has the bowling action of a 35 year old fast bowling veteran.

Manik can barely ever get into a domestic xi, heard good things but can't manage to get an extended run.

I do not want him in the squad under Mushy's captaincy. Mushy will ruin his career.

Try him out in T20 and ODIs
