Good to see Law backing Mominul. I just wonder where he would play in the national team? The middle order is not our main problem, it's really the top order. Unless they decide to put him in at #3 but he's more of a #4.

I don't think he's talking about putting Mominul straight into the starting line-up, rather get him "acclimatised" into the squad so it will be easier for him when he eventually does make his debut. They did this with Nasir and that's worked well. As for where will he fit in, well I guess players like Rokibul, Ashraful, and Kapali will be permanently discarded, and so he may be given the opportunity to take one of these places.

I just wonder where are they planning to play Mominul? only slot is open atm is number 3. Is he ready for that yet? i doubt...
Mominul is definitely not ready. However it's great to hear Law talking about him. He was also praised and rated very highly by Stuart Barnes and Ross Turner who have worked closely with him. He is my favourite of the three (Asif, Anamul, Mominul) and it's good to know he is heading in the right direction but he is still at the very least a year away from being national team material. I remember he was almost included in the Test squad against Pakistan but thankfully he wasn't rushed. His time will come.

I would rather nominate Robin Singh/Dean jones' name than that of Law as the National Team Captain!

He did perform for Barisal today. Still not ready though. Two sitter (lives) allowed him to be the hero.

Sachin tendulkar got 4 lives when he played his 80 something innings against Pakistan in the semi finals of 2011 world cup

Speaking abt Robin Singh, i think he is a pretty good coach. I am not saying we should get him. Just saying he has achieved quite a bit as a coach in a short time. On paper Chittagong and Dhaka seem a lot better than Khulna. But Khulna seems to be quite organized and disciplined. A lot of credit should go to Robin Singh.

Speaking of his record has coached Hong Kong (Helped them qualify for Asia Cup), India A, Fielding Coach of India National Team, Head coach of Deccan Chargers, and currently head coach of Mumbai Indians. He has helped Mumbai become runner up and also they won Champions League T20. Also had another interesting stint as the coach of US Womens cricket team.

Is there any doubt this guy would have been a million times better than Law? Probably not. Unfortunately at that point we would have preferred Law because he is Australian. But now we all know he is crap
