I'm actually disappointed we didn't win. We scored 136 runs from the last 132 balls. Shakib was not out and on form too. If the openers had scored at a quicker pace then we could have had a decent chance of chasing this.

I think the Team Management should bring in a new rule that batsman need to aim to have a strike rate of 70+ minimum in order to prevent selfish performances just to preserve a place in the team.

Law needs to get tough and lay down the law. This is a team game afterall and I thought it was unfair the way Naeem heaped pressure on the rest of the batsman virtually killing the game off.

Considering all the 20+ to 30 Runs, Naeem would always look good since he scored a 50. I would still put him at number 3 if we bat first. The reason is simple: if he is not playing as number 3, ashraful would come at that position. Within 80-100 runs we will lose 3 wickets. the pressure will again creep in. Whoever has the intent to stay at the crease for long time should come at #3 and #4. in that case, solution is naeem or sakib for these two positions!

Just looking at how went England along chasing 300 against India, we are being too harsh on our boys. They looked totally lost against an average at best Indian bowling attack. At least we were in the game till 40-42 overs.

I agree but also wonder, why Rokibul was removed from that position then?
