Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between AIUB and BCB renewed


The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been renewed. Under this MoU, AIUB will be the Official Education Partner of the BCB. Acting CEO of BCB Nizam Uddin Chowdhury and AIUB’s Director (Under Graduate Programs) & Coordinator (Office of Sports) Abdul Kader Nazmul signed the renewal agreement on 01 October 2012. This will be effective from 01 October 2012 and will be valid for three years.


The main focus of the partnership is to assist the overall development of young cricketers of Bangladesh. The AIUB will be providing educational training through short term English Language Classes/Programmes, Leadership Courses, Cultural Awareness Classes and Computer Fundamental Courses for the BCB selected National players, SAHARA-BCB National Academy players, Pace Foundation recruits, Under 19 Squad, U17 Squad, Women’s National players, coaching staff and management staff of BCB. The AIUB will also offer scholarships to a select group of cricketers in its undergraduate/graduate programmes

Good initiative..... Need to include under 13 too...earlier is better...bura der shikhano is very tough.

Shakib was a part of this...not sure how often he actually went. But a good initiative nevertheless and good to know it's been renewed
