^ got it.

Kolkata can replace Haddin but they have to do it before their next game as the IPL rules state replacements can only be brought in for injured players before a franchise has played eight games. Kolkata's eighth match is against Kings XI Punjab on Saturday. Their coach Dav Whatmore confirmed Haddin's injury and said a replacement would be announced in due course.

Some people are arguing for Kevin O Brian but source says KKR has already started talking with Tamim. Lets see.

Morgan is most likely to miss later matches as he will play for England against SL. So, a great chance for Tamim (if he is selected) to play later matches.

Mark Boucher has replaced Haddin ! So, NO TAMIM !!!

Quote:
Brad Haddin, the Australia and Kolkata Knight Riders wicketkeeper, has been ruled out of the rest of the IPL with a fractured finger. He has been replaced by South Africa wicketkeeper Mark Boucher, who was part of the IPL commentary team this season and represented Royal Challengers Bangalore in the first three editions.

Would have been great if Tamim was there.

Tamim was never likely to replace Haddin.....we were a little too optimistic I guess.....BLNT..

Amla could be precious for KKR. Boucher is a worse choice than even Tamim.

Yeah absolutely, I'm surprised at Amla not being there, but was thinking perhaps on religious reasons:

We need send our best lathiala's to take down Morgan, Mashrafe can tell them where to hit him to cause maximum match-unfitness. Then they'll have to buy Tamim

They needed a wicket keeper who can bat. Amla will not be a good option as they already have Kallis in the team and opening for them. Amla could have replaced Dilshan and opened with Gayle
