good to see shehzad still there and umar akmal. i swear they only pick umar amin because they see him as captaincy material. a bit surprised hammad azam isn't getting picked if they want a pace allrounder but at least they are trying new people. also babar azam, they're struggling with the bat they need to try proper prospects and not bandy around with random players they're just picking out of a hat. haris sohail has been dumped, he never really got a proper chance.

Saffers choked again. I was looking at their ODI batting stats in the last 4 years. To say they're heavily reliant on Amla and De Villiers is a bit of an understatement. I'm surprised at how poor everyone else has been.

SA has honestly been a very disappointing ODI side. Since the WC, their W/L ratio has been only 1.05 which is 5th out of the 10 Test teams. That's very disappointing for a team that supposedly is one of the contenders to win the WC.

SA generally are disappointing in ODIs. on a positive note shehzad got his 3rd ODI ton and that has brought his average into the 30s, should keep going up hopefully.

He's a terrific talent who should be playing all 3 formats of the game. Jamshed, Umar Akmal, and Asad Shafiq should as well.

congratulations to PAkistan.
that was the ugliest chase I've seen, SA really takes the "choking" to a new level.
I started watching when Amla was on nineties ,SA needing 29 from 27 balls with six wickets in hand.
And although they didn't have a Pak type collapse but still managed to lose it by one run only because there batsmen couldn't find boundaries.
I thought Duminy was a fine finisher( I still think so) but yesterday he batted like Zia, was trying to hit hard without making connection.
credit goes to Pak bowler aswell.
And non matter how good Amla is , he is no Nasa
