Default Kudos for Mehrab Hossain jnr

Mehrab Hossain jnr is the most successful player in Bangladesh team. He scored most runs and got most wickets in the tournament among Bangladeshi players, however he is one of the best all rounder in the tournament too.

You will see Batting, Bowling and Fielding statistics from cricinfo site.

It again proved the theory that we are coming .We close up the Gap in the Age group now it's the time for us to show in the Test arena.

If we had 2/3 more consistent top orders we would have win the tournament or could have fight for our money.

We have shahrier nafees and aftab and ash in the national team,so when the cubs join them,it'll be a great team.

We can count on Rahim first as he has every possibility of playing in the SL Series soon.

I do not see any chance for Rahim and he didn't do anything extra ordinary in the tournament

All the U-19 players who played bad or good in this torunament have to wait at least 2-3 years before getting into national side. If they are selected for senior team soon there is every possibilty they will extinct sooner. Look at past history: where are Hannan Sarker, Nafees Iqbal, etc. etc. The best way is to keep them competitive in the coming years, that means make them play a lot of international tournaments. In other test countries players at this level grow very very fast which Bangladesh have never been able to achieve. So keep these guys busy in international scene, they will dominate the national side in a few years. There is no point getting excited about their chance in national team right now.

mehrab has what others lacked. Consistency and a cool cricketing brain. our teams problem is we dramatically collapse. with more players like mehrab we can avoid this problem. do you agree/

Is there a chance for Mehrab to become the Man of the Tournament?

pujara is man of the tournament with 10 points. Mehrab got 9 points. mehrab was not used as a bowler with Uganda. I wonder in retrospect whether if he got to bowl in that match he might have gotten a point or two and may have been the man of the tournament.

Mehrab Hossain jnr is pretty good player. I wonder if he would be as good, if he did not play in Aus.? if not.. why don;t Bangladesh Cricket Board send few more players overseas?
