i also feel, rana and javed should be in the team. Nazmul, is okey
javed can anchor the innings and rana is always giving more than 100%

1. What else Rana has to do to get a position in the playing 11/12.
2. How many more chances alok chandra shaha will get depending on two 80s?
|
1. It's not what Rana has to do ... more like Chacha have to retire and Alok / Razzak have to fail again ... Rana will be back soon for sure.
2. May be this is the last chance ... Hope he ( Alok ) shine this time.
Personally I think Javed should open with Nafees, Rajin should play one down, since we are not AUS or IND, we should target to play through 50 overs and score around 250. In that sense we need both Javed and Rajin in the team. May be after Chacha's farewell, we may see both of them are playing together.

If we want to win, we have to think positively. Yes, we are not India, but we can become India. I love JO, but he is a temporary solution to our Batting line as I said before. We should continue to look for betterment.
Since it's ChaCha's farewell, here is something: When Bangladesh toured Australia, a reporter asked Khaled Mahmood wheather he thought his team had a chance against Australia. He replied, we play every game to win.
I think that's should be our attitude in every game.

250 is not a very good score anymore. It has become like 200 of mid-90's. We should always aim for minimum 250, and look beyond. With Javed in the XI, it's never possible.

Well, I am not against looking betterment, but losing all wickets ( most of the time ) before finishing 50 overs not going to take us any where. It doesn't matter how aggressive we are in our mind, all it matters how we ACT and the RESULT from that act. We have seen so many times that losing early wicket always trigger our top order collapse, and we end up not able to play through 50 overs or scoring around 200. That means we are nowhere near to compete any opponent these days.
But then again, one Javed or Rajin cant hold the FAMOUS top order collapse every time I guess.

True, but they not better than others in terms of "saving the team from collapse" anyway.
Just like the other BD batsmen, Javed and Rajin has lot of single digit scores.
