It going to be a run hitting matches with players like Sehwag, Afridi, etc in the team..
probably 2 to 3 matches will produce runs around 300.

I heard Pakistan and India is going to play matches in the neutral venues. Also, I heard 2 ODIs going to be played in Dubai in April. Seems like more games are going to be played in Europe, America, Dubai, etc in order to globilize the game.

I think it will be 3-2 or even 4-1. It can be either way and all will be close.

I suspect S Akhter will be a NON-FACTOR and kind of expensive for ODI. Most likely the pitches will be batting fiendly. Therefore Asif, Razzak, Naved-ul-Hasan , Pathan, Singh, Khan will be more effective and economical than Sami (if he plays) and S Akhter.

In batting side, both have some explosive batsman like Afridi, Razzak, Akmal, Dhoni, Pathan and Sehwag who are explosive and capable of single-handedly change the game.

Plus both team have capable batsman like: Dravid, Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Younis, Yousuf & Enzy to steer the team to big score from early batting collupse.

Therefore anything can happen.
Thats why ODI are always fun.

I have two words for this ODI series: "Young Blood"!!!
Induce young blood from both sides, otherwise it'll be a dull ODI series to watch. Each team should increase the pool of players they have and rest the in-form, experienced players giving the others an oppotunity to face tough situations in the Intl arena!

India can't afford to experiment. Their test loss has put a stop to that. On the other hand Pakistan can inject as much as new blood they want to inject.

About predicting ... I would like to stay out of it.

I think the Indian team will be fired up for the one-dayers following their loss in the test series. I expect Sehwag and Tendulkar to fire all cylinders and romp back to form. This will be another high scoring, high voltage serkes with passionate chases and near misses. I really should buy a package to watch this series.

Good one Devils_advocate. For indian lineup i donot think they will bring kaif that early. Dravid 1st down, they Youvraj, then Kaif.

I'd predict 4-1 for Pakistan, could be 3-2. But Pakistan are the favourites. Would be nice if India can manage a 2-2 before the final game. After that anything can happen.

Mahammad Asif is the find of the series so far and is by far the best bowler in two sides. He is bound to do well.

India's midddle order is full of youth: looks all set for WC 2007, this will be a testing time for them.

I'd like to see Agarkar and one among RP and Sreeshanth .

.
Do not be so pessimestic. In paper India still has a better batting line up. Mohd Asif can bowl only 10 overs.

Regarding prediction I do now want to look like a fool by predicting matches involved the most unpredictable team of the world - Pakistan. It can be even 5-0 for any sides favor though unlikely.

Its 1-0 to India, as per match situation. Tendulkar is back with bang. It shall make it difficult for Pakistan in upcoming matches of series.

Right now India 240 in 39 overs. Atleast 350 is gonna be target.

TV replays shows that tendulkar was unfortunate to be given out. The ball hit his glove before hitting the pad. so no way he was LBW!!!!

Yeah i know...this is cricket....but what can i do!! everybody was talking soo much about sachin's decline that i was eagerly waiting for a ton from the master. anyway excellent stuff from sachin and the indian team (though they may just rue their chances to clear off 350 barrier).
