Well whatever the case might be BD is getting destroyed at the moment. Also many times opposition captain will say they will do exactly as the opposite captain just to undermine the loss of toss.

Wickets is the only way to stop them. Unfortunately for us, because of the thrashing they got from NZ, the openers took their time to get set and didn't give us any opportunity. We needed a bit of luck and some bat shots to be in this contest.
It sucks for us but this is as hard as it gets in terms of an opponent.

on a brighter side, India have managed to fill the stadium half way by holding classes of nearby primary school in the stadium

If Liton or Tamim jr. flops today, we need to replace them with Mehedy or Shanto and bring Ryad at the back end of our batting in the next game. Khamakha passenger carry korey laav nai.

Lesson for today: Stay in school and become a doctor or don't go to school and you play for Bangladesh.

NZ scored 283/1 against Eng in 36 overs. Not expecting our batsman to perform miracles but they should at least try to score 300

Predict our losing margin today-
a) 5-10 runs
b) 10-50 runs
c) 50-100 runs

will the ground get bigger when chasing? if you truly believe our batsmen can outbat their way to victory against England - you my friend is delusional.

There is nothing on this wicket. A true wicket, and England has a powerhouse of batting. They will score over 400 today. Most bowlers will struggle today on this surface.

Loosing margin 250 + runs.
They'll score 450+ and we'll be all out between 150 - 200

We wouldn't outbat them but we shouldn't have gotten massacred like this for sure.

This is what I am saying exactly. Think tank has only one blind strategy: win toss, bowl first, hope bowlers keep opponents to subpar score. That's it.

On this surface, England would have scored over against any team. You are being too harsh to our bowlers.

Games isn't complete yet. Let's hope for a competetive batting from our end. You wanna make to semifinal - you will face scores like this at some point. It's expected in this world cup.
You do have a point that if it's truly batting surface, why drop Riyad - makes little sense.

This England team is full of sloggers. A team like this was a world cup winner tells you all that is to know about the state of ODI. This may as well be the last ODI world cup. They should just remove bowlers at this point.

I will root for any other team except for England and their 11 sloggers. This team wouldve been eaten alive by the 90s team.
