Okay-ish. He has done enough to be in the T20 squad. Should keep on playing aggressively, don't go back to tuk-tuk mode.

To me, Ash has fixed his place in the XI. He has done reasonably well. He just needs to consolidate from their, which he has been showing after every single match. Yesterday's knock was a sign of Ash getting back. He needs to continue in this role model.

Oh boy! this is happening again. I'm worring how big the next dissapoint will be for Ash fans. Good news is we got only t20 matches ahead, where it seems he will proally able to keep his fans calm for the time being with his 30-40s in low SR and zero expectation to be match winner.
Still I'm very much looking forward for better show in bigger stages like coming official games & slpl. Who knows he may out-perform our other so called Stars in there.

Don't worry, practice makes a man perfect(LOL). He's going to show off very soon.

Enough? Not yet.
So a 28 ball 22, a 31 ball 33, a 9 ball 19 and a 40 ball 40..this arent bad scores and considering the weakness of other batsman in this format id be forced to pick Ash any day. But the problem is such scores wont really mean he has done ENOUGH. He cudve done much much more than such scores. He couldve gotten couple of 50s, that wud be satisfactory

He didn't go into that mode by choice...he was forced by his head master...And his nconsistency compelled him to swallow that pill... So he also shares the blame to some extent. hope he is moving towards the right direction now.

Has pybus allowed his to play freely? I think for Ash its suits him to ahve a coach that does not interfere in his game. He has his own style of play. it's like me with revision... those flashcards, doing practice papers, revising with friends etc never work for me. All about the text book and memorizing through it. Sometimes, once u worked out your own style en u play with it, u get success.

When other top order batsmen (including Tamim) look so miserable, then, yes, Ash has done plenty to cement his place in the T20 squad.
