...What? we had a match? was it in the plane?
....all kidding aside, its not a big deal. Imagine playing in shoes that are twice your size, or half your size and you'll know what I mean. Lol. Chillax people! (But don't chillax if we lose the first match without a good fight.)
As far as I know, TIK himself will prove a point when the first match starts. Till then we need to take a few deep breaths and relax.
...hope I could help some of our over hyped fans who are losing sleep over this warm-up match (maybe played in over sized shoes, heavy artillery or gulli-danda sticks for all we know )

Errr....you just described the opposite of what indifferent means.

NZ lost to us badly last year and wrapped up the series, SL lost to us badly and (barely) won the final.
we shouldn't lose the first ODI, but if we do, i'd wait till the series is over (by 3rd ODI regardless of outcome to say anything).
best case scenario: bangladesh convincgly wins the series...not much to discuss here, and suspect mridul bhai and others will take a long vacation.
probable scenario: its a close series 3-2 to us or 3-2 to them. it will mean that zimbabwe have certainly improved from the side that was beaten 5-0 in BD and 3-1 in ZIM from 2006-07.
worst case scenario: 1-4 outcome (we won't lose 5 games i can guarantee that). this will prove that BD are a seriously weak-minded team. given ZIM's recent performances against top sides, it won't be a disaster, but will come very close.

i think ashraful , sakib never play seriously in the practice matches. then why not to give them rest? they are auto choice at this moment. why not give others chance?

I think bd took it seriously. They don't want to show their technique to Zim auth to analize our players. So they got them out cheaply. Shakib bowled loose balls so that he could save real balls for real games. It was all planned. They don't want reveal how Tamim makes big hit and slog sixes during P1. They don't want to show how running between wicket works for BD team, so Ash got run out. To create illusion, we used Rakibul as a bowler so that Zim team will be busy reading his action, but we won't use him during real match. What a strategy. Nice mr. Chacha! It's your idea.

LOL. Not surprised to see an Indian fan in the forum after Bangladesh lose a match. Sad case.

Losing this practice match may be a blessing in disguise for us. Reality check + deflated delusions of grandeur. Cricket is still a sport where you have to bat, bowl, and field well with appropriate character and focus, one ball at a time.

As usual Taibu owns Bangladesh. It's sad for Zimbabwe that he won't be playing in the ODI series. In a way, we won't be playing their full-strength side.

SN owns them as well and he is not in the team. So in that way, this is not our full-strength team..right?

this defeat means absolutely nothing. they were certainly tired with the cramped schedule and not to mention the journey...
but its ok to start a series with your feet on the ground...
