Fuming -bad team management

This is test cricket we are playing why on earth for the 2nd test match running we are only playing 3 front bowlers. Now shahadat is injured , we only have two with an allrounder plus we decided to bowl first. Every other team plays 4 bowlers . If shahadat doesn't recover we will be lucky for any sort of result. This brainless management beggars belief

There was grass on the wicket, he selected to bowl first, and our batsmen are in form, so what do we do? select 8 batsmen and 3 bowlers and one now gets injured. Utterly ridiculous

Yeah disappointing. At least select Jubair in place of the useless Shahadat and get Soumya to open the bowling.

Even with these set of bowlers in last 2 overs before lunch we created 2 sure fire chances, the fielding of Mominul at silly point was utterly silly to miss those, which is more disappointing.

The coach and captain are primarily responsible for the final eleven. Although there will be suggestions from Khaled Mahmud, Selectors. But final decision taken by Hathurusingha and Mushfiq. So pretty much on them.

Still cannot phantom the idea why Bangladesh elected to bowl first & picked 2 frontline seamers instead of 3 and that too on a pitch with more grass than the odi's & T20!!

Don't worry guys, despite a severely wrong selection, I think this test is also going towards draw. Expect a lot of flat pitch chest thumping.

Pakistan didn't score a lot, tomorrow they may bat untill Tea and again pike up something close to 550 and declare or be all out before that too ...

Bangladesh will match them with the bat. There will be no result here too ... But yes, our selectors really need to gear up their thought process for the test cricket.

Going in with a weak attack and choosing to field first, was outright crazy !!! Even if you want to play for a draw. I don't know if Mushy defied coach's suggestion or bcb interfered heavily. I don't expect the coach to do such basic mistakes. He's under pressure and I'm sure if he argues, bcb will humiliate him. So he might opt to remain quiet.

Or was it imposed upon them from the top? We have a culture of top down dictation to take the credits when things go well. That's pretty much engraved, so I won't rule that out. Haven't seen haturi making such basic mistakes when in bad times and generally top remains away from suggesting in bad times.

Now when the team is doing well in every situation, they think they can do anything and things will be ok & they will claim... "See I told you to do this and we have achieved this..." Becomes a great cricketing brain overnight, at the cost of hardworking people who turned the tide

I can't see Haturi and Mushy doing such basic mistakes... These can only come from people not aware of cricket as much.
