I hope we bat first.........
Due to the fact that we have the best spin attack, our chase have been low for a while. Even then we have struggled quite a bit. The team needs to go through a 50 over approach and needs to practice batting at slow conditions first. If u look back at some of our first innings scores last couple series, It has been pretty shaky. We also need to practice PPs.....
Because in worldcup, if we loose the toss, we will be sent to bat first and we will loose the game.
It would do us much favor to destroy this series and get destroyed at world cup because of batting.

Our power play batting has been the reason for some worry for long time. So if he has thought about trying Ash there, he has rightly done so. Our power play batting hasn't been tested against Zim yet but I am sure it will be in the world cup. It was a good initiative from Jamie to try get the combination right before world cup. Its a shame that the coach and captain don't have the authority to select the XI. I don't how they keep themselves motivated to go on after this sort of interference.

Considering the dew factor, and previous D/N records.......I'll rather go for bowling first. Its hard to grip the ball. Our spinners suffered a lot against the Indians (we bowled 2nd in each time)...even when Shak wont the only toss!
Hope it will be an exception this time.

currently there is not that much DEW ... in dhaka or mirpur. the dew problem gets intense in january-february, when the triseries was held.

but again its winter, anyday the dew may start falling in the evening

I agree, Should look to bat first, set a big target (which BD always fails to) and bowl em out under the lights.

Neo cricket is televising the match.

I hope BD win this match, so they will not be under much pressure to win one more match to win the series, last chance before the end of 2010. If SL whips the Windies, then BD might move to N0 8. Correct me if I am wrong.

Damn it BCB, I am going with 12 of my friends and we all planned to start at 12:00 from Gulshan, I was so hoping to see how the new floodlights light up SBNS and also the atmosphere in the evening is always great but only for BCB to ruin everything. This is really a new low for Bangladesh Cricket, have you ever heard of any international match that became a day match from a day-night one in such a short notice?
