Could have had a one day match in Khulna, if they would play the first 4 dayer in Dhaka and then move to Khulna...somehow bcb can't take even these matches nation wide...

This is good to hear our plyers who are out of national team have a lot of match. BCB should make the matches play all over the country sothat yong guys all over the country can have watched the match and inspired themselves.

Travel expenses, player fatigue, time constraint two city travel is good. Another team can travel to Sylhet/dhaka. British teams can have direct flight.

will the match against Bangladesh A carry First Class status?

I hope we select guys like Rabbi, Al Amin, Anamul for the A team and not less heralded players.

Any matches by academy or hp unit does not get a FC status.

yes you are correct when you say this, WI can put together quite a good first XI but their bench players are horrible, i think they have a couple of decent pacers coming through but overall their bench strength is shocking.

Good to see Taskin in the mix. Hope he makes the final cut.

Where is Al Amin Hossain?

Interesting omissions = Asif Ahmed and Mominul Haque.

And if they do well, can be drafted in the A team.

Good to see Taskin being fast tracked like this. Ratul's exclusion comes to me as no surprise. Shouraubh will be in the Academy side for sure as will Shoummo and Liton.

Clearly Anam/Enam has been promoted to senior duty. His selections in AC and ZIM tri series indicate that. I'd still like him to play for the A/Academy sides still. Maybe he will.

Momin was in the A team and by far the top bat in the India tour, surely he can't be relegated to the Academy side. Perhaps selectors have senior team aspirations for him already also.

Excellent. We need more tours like this at least 3 a year. Gives an excellent opportunity for youngsters and fringe players.

Also in the 90's we used to have tournament for the A teams. That too could give our guys a lot of experience. Even India plays a 3-4 team tournament- India, India A, India B, India Under 19. The event is well publicized, covered on tv and gives emerging talent excellent opportunity to prove themselves.

Those who missed out should have been there probably gonna work with McInnes in the academy unless BCB have some other plan, which i doubt so nothing to worried about.

Plus, there is a 4 day game vs Academy team so i'm 100000% sure Anamul, Mominul, asif, SoSa, Shabbir, Abu Jayed, Gazi, Babu, etc will be there...
