You are questioning Mushy's spot, really? he just flopped in last 2 ODI. He average well over 45+ in last 2/3 years of ODI cricket.

He used to bowl a lot a few matches ago. Now he turns his arm over for six balls.

Riyad the bowler is a done deal. His batting decline is dreadful for him.

He needs ample time outside of the national team setup.

Somehow try to get a county contract.

His form is not issue. He was MOS in BPL and good bowling performance in T20. Mash could have given him some bowling to boast his confidence

He bowled 1 over, didn't do bad. Still didn't get more over. I think team management want him out of team

Is he bowler? No.

Is he a better part time bowler than the full timers? No.

Is he scoring runs regularly with the bat? No.

Then you know he doesn't deserve to be in the team.

Riyad's days are numbered. Poor form with the bat, dreadful fielding and not enough bowling will definitely bring a lot of scrutiny.

I think it's time we look for other alternatives and let Riyad spend some time in the domestic games.

Lol @ Riyad fanboys with their faulty logic bringing up BPL and T20s when it's ODIs and Tests being discussed. Not to mention BPL was 4 months ago and this is INTERNATIONAL cricket, not some backyard tournament

Though I don't blame him much when our captain decides to be all dramatic and threatens not to play if Riyad doesn't get picked.

Some senior he is. When he was needed to dig in with all his experience, he played like a newbie!

Only Marlon Samuels is more dull than this dude. Otherwise, last 10years most dullest international cricketer that has played over 10years, in the history of the game. Absolute dull, unspiring, sunday league cricketer who hit a purple patch in the world cup and his fans thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. Please do yourself and most importantly the country a favour - RETIRE!

He has no role in the team. I thought he would contribute nicely as a finisher but he hasnt in past two games. I would give him maybe 3 games to see if he can be a finisher. If not then I would really consider Saifuddin or Nasir. I would love to see a big hitter like Saifuddin down the order alongside Sabbir.

His t20 strike rate is close to 170, course in the other formats it's quite low...

I would still keep him for the T20 series, as he did get that fifty in NZ and t20 has been his best format

If a player is out of form....it means he is out of form for all format of the games, doesn't matter what is his past track record.

Its kind of silly to expect an out of form player to play better in any format. Until he gets his form back (whenever ...who knows), don't expect runs from him in T20 also.

You can tell Mahmudullah is all out of sorts, he is out of form, out of confidence, probably misses his family a lot. He just doesn't want to be there, he has to come out of this funk somehow. He played first test didn't do anything, he played 3 ODIs didn't contribute at all, well first ODI he scored 13 but the bulk was done by Mosaddek. He has to perform, T20 is his game and he needs to score here!

He literally has no role in the team. At least add some value to the team by bowling but Mashrafe doesn't even bowl him. Seems like a franchise cricketer these days.

Definitely

Also he needs to run for the last ball of the innings regardless of if you're going to get out or not. That was dreadful to be honest.

Poor Anamul got kicked out of the team for being selfish, couldn't get away with it because he wasn't an older player

Starting to look like a T20 only player. Batting wasnt great yesterday but look at the quality of yorkers he had to face. Very handy with the ball, very good in the field.

Maybe we should let him be a specialist in this format.

That's very debatable. He does well with the ball once in a blue moon and that too mostly in non-international matches. He is very good in the field if compared to Al Amin, Taskin or Abdur Razzak. We have seen him drop dollies. Better still not even making an effort catching a difficult one lest he fails to do so.

Even a novice like Saifuddin was left dumbfounded when Riyad not running a single off the last ball of an international match and while setting a target where every run matters. It seems like team's result is irrelevant to him. The fact is, despite the numerous NOT OUT*s, Riyad still averages in the early 30s and 20s after all these years. If I was a member of BCB thinktank I would be very concerned. Mahmudullah is failing to put his experience to good use -in all sense.

This series his fielding has been good. Last night-outstanding. Lol a bit harsh to even bring up Taskin etc.

Bowling maybe its awkward to play against him in T20, similar to Asela. Like Athar Ali Khan says "You have to manufacture shots!".

Very disappointing to see Ryad refuse that last single when his younger partner was prepared to risk his wicket for that extra run.
